Baylor Fans Are So Cute

You have got to be ****ing kidding me. Where was this petition when Baylor snuck their way into the Big 12 leaving their other Texas "brethren" in the dust?

Well if they can politically pressure the others to stay then more power to them, but yeah that is pretty damn pathetic.

**** Baylor. But that **** is hilarious. It is 100% agenda driven, and that agenda has nothing to do with Texas football tradition. **** Baylor.

In the first installment of the Ken Starr trilogy, we had the thrill of watching millions of taxpayer dollars wasted and months of congressional stalemate as the people of the world sat on the edge of their seats in anxious anticipation of learning the answers to whether voyeuristic participation in cigar masturbation and a messy blowjob that soiled a dress equaled "sexual relations".

Next, Ken Starr brought us a stunning sequel in which he pooled the resources of outraged Utah mormons and Texas baptists to make sure that gay folks couldn't get married in California.

In the exciting return of Ken Starr, coming this fall, we will see the valiant efforts of one man fighting the good fight to strong-arm the Texas legislature and court system to keep in-state universities from acting in their best interest and, instead, forcing them to do what's best for a private religious school located within the state.

Roger Ebert says, well... nothing since he can't talk anymore. But he writes, "Not since The Passion of the Christ have we seen storytelling this self-indulgent. But at least Starr's not making his arguments in Aramaic, so I give it a mild thumbs up."

I damn near clicked on the link, but was worried something would track back to me being a TX resident and thus the house we still have in Austin getting burned down due to helping out Baylor.

Hey wait, I'm a TX resident, my e-signature would be valid on the petition, if they get enough and keep the B12-(2, 3? 4?) together and UT doesn't come to Pac-12 that's a win, right? Whatcha think, should I sign it? What could go wrong?

I had a college girlfriend that campaigned really hard not to get dumped too.

whats really scary is THIS is on there .edu site not the athletics site hahaha

Texas has a proud tradition of not separating the two. It's just another reason to keep the schools together, right Baylor? Only Texas understands Texas...gotta stick together. Except for SMU, Rice and TCU, **** those guys.

Baylor gets a lot of crap for getting their invite to the Big due to Ann Richards but if you look at the recent history (87-94), they were much more successful than TCU, SMU and Rice at the time. Houston was a probation mess.

this is some funny schidt-

So my family has quite a few friends who donate pretty large chunks of money to BU. My dad was telling me two of these people told him that BU is willing to accept half the amount of money that gets worked out in the PAC# if they take us instead of TT. It sounds like UT is on board with it and will try to block TT. Sounds pretty crazy but these sources go all the way back to the last round of expansion (not last year, the SWC days). That's kind of embarassing but thats still more money than we would make in a non AQ conference....

So, let me get this straight, Baylor is willing to take less $$$$ to get the same amount of *** whipping? Baylor is, in other words, a cheap date.

I hope they enjoy C-USA; They've earned it through their sleazy politicking.

I don't know how Baylor did it, but I am actively anti-Bear at this point.

half the Pac-12 money is still probably more than they get from the Mack10-1. They probably agreed to secretly give it to Bevo.

MWC set to extend invites to BU, ISU, KU, KSU per twitter and several message boards.

This whole thing between Baylor, Texas and the Texas govt seems sleazy, sophomoric, and canonical. Texas has this imperious attitude towards other schools in general. I just don't want them in our conference, they will jockey and manipulate for power the moment they are in.

So round and preserves vegetables?

If this means the schools all stick together and nothing goes the Pac-12's way, I'm all for it. If it means politicians get Baylor included in the package deal toward a Pac-16 then I'm gonna call Janet Reno. Seems like she's still due for a last hurrah.

Know what cracks me up about BaylorFans.... none of them find their way over here. We must show up on their traffic reports, and they're a big site. Yet, they only seem to post stuff from other Texas schools. This tells me that they have Texas Tunnel vision
