OK...our chances against The Ohio State U?

we better cheat like no one else has cheated before. anyway of putting elway in hansons uni? :smile2:

Luke Fickell is a known fool and clueless. He just took 3 time outs into the locker room at the end of the game. The vest was a dick but he managed a game well. OSU is vulnerable but Buffs need to play great to win.

We have a chance as long as we invite the entire OSU starting lineup to Bill's Sports Collectibles for a session before Saturday's game. Oh, we'll also need to invite the NCAA / Big 10 officials to "watch over" the event.

We win easily if we can start the game in the second half.

Seriously though, in order to have a chance, we are gonna have to have a fast start and limit the penalties. We start off the way we have in the first few games we don't have a chance.

let's be honest. we play like we've played so far, we lose by 35...

tyler needs to throw a more accurate ball for us to have ANY chance. he's missed on way too many throws. i think we can agree with that.

I disagree with that. I say if we can play for 4 quarters like we have in the second half of every game, we have a decent chance. And I think Tyler has improved each game this year. His WR's dropped a lot today. If Tyler is on, WR's hands are glue, and we limit penalties, then I like our chances of at least a game. We have done all those things this year, problem is not all those things for 4 quarters.

minimal. THey will win it with defense and special teams. Our MVP punter is regressing, our kickoffs still are awful, and CSU was blocking punts. No bueno.

see, i just think we can play great for us, but even so we'll need tyler to throw a deep ball where #6 is open and tyler HAS to hit him. Tyler's "long" passes have really been mostly slants to PRich who then breaks it off for 80 or whatever. he has not got a very accurate deep ball AT ALL right now. and second, we're the buffs. when was the last time you saw us play 4 quarters of solid football? I mean, I love 'em, but reality is reality. i can hope, but i'm not going to believe it till i see it...the last 8 or so years has really taken its toll!

I don't see us getting pummeled. Those of you still thinking this is the old OSU need to take a step back and see that they barely beat Toledo at home last week and got killed by a very mediocre Miami team tonight while only having 23 passing yards. Of course I'm not going to predict a CU win in the 'Shoe, but OSU is weaker than they've been in 10+ years. We can keep this halfway close.

I thought his deep ball was improved today. He hit Clemons on that one and then he hit PRich on one who dropped it.

What concerns me is that in the Cal game, we were able to make it uncomfortable for the QB during stretches. Against CSU, pistol Pete had either a decent pocket or was able to squirt out. With our history against mobile QBs on the road and a pissed off team at home, it'll take near perfection on our part and a few lucky bounces to make this game.

So you're telling me there's a chance...

Hansen missed three key throws today;

An early throw to Clemons in the first quarter
Dehan running up the middel on third and long
Toney Clemons on a deep route where he had two steps

At the end of the day he was OK, but he left 14-21 points on the field because he was off a little. That being said if Hansen gets in a groove early at OSU, I like our chances.

I don't think we have much of a chance. It's possible that we put up a fight like the Cal game, but I don't like our chances of pulling it out at the end.

We've played teams tough in some of the toughest places to play in the country over the years - @ FSU, @ UGa, @ Washington, @ Michigan... but we've very rarely won those games.

If we play exceedingly well offensively, cut down on penalties and mental errors, and play well against the run, I think we can have a chance to win in the end. But, I still think we lose.

Hansen on the road and "in a groove early" right.

We couldn't move the ball on offense against CSU... how are we going to score points against Ohio State? Not to mention we continue to make pocket statue quarterbacks look like Michael Vick because our defense is so slow. What do you think an actual dual threat qb is going to do to us?
