D Scott? Big game for you tonight.

D Scott 10 carries for 113 yards against Florida A&M. Not great competition, but I think USF is happy with the transfer.

Who gives a s*** about D. Scott? I would take Speedy every day over him. This was one of the personnel decisions that i actually agreed with Hawkins on. He was awful at CU and had a terrible work ethic and just didn't show anything.... I wonder how many yards Speedy would have against Florida A&M?

D Scott and Josh are smarter than they appear. Get the hell out of here....and away from Danny. Thus, my point was, too bad Jon was not around for D Scott.

Just one of many fails associated with the Hawk era. Glad to see he's doing well, too bad Hawk couldn't coach him up and bring out the best in him.

230 pound running back, 4.5 Forty and he got no play at CU. I don't make $1.6 M / year but even I could figure that one out.

Lots of blame to go around on this one. DScott owns a nice sized piece of it as well.

Good for Darrell. Hope he kicks ass and makes it in the league. I don't blame him for getting the hell away from d2 danny. Like little cody says, success is the best revenge.

Lets remember it was FAMU.

Good point but he still had a good game. He also had 84 yards on pass receptions in the game.

DS needed to do some serious maturing to become a quality football player, he seems to have done some of that now at USF. He is certainly talented but that maturing wasn't going to happen under coach moonbeam and his staff.

I kind of wonder how DS would have done on a team with EB on the staff, EB would have either driven him right off the team or turned him into a legit star.

I have no hard feelings towards DS, but going for 100yds on a FCS team in which your team scores 70 doesn't mean anything. He was completely unimpressive against Notre Dame, and I suspect his 33 yd output against the Domers will be more the norm for him this year than 100 yard games.

Great game D-Scott, congratulations on your big game. There are a lot of factors in why he left our program, let's not get to down on him. We were begging for him to came here when he was a the top RB recruiting coming out of HS let's wish him well. Our prior coaching staff here was horrible, there's two sides to every story i'm sure he had his own good reasons to leave. Players transfer from program to program all the time, we landed a gold mine in Paul Richardson I'm sure a lot of folks at UCLA are kicking their selves in the behinds. Sometimes it just doesn't work out and you have to move on. Let's not get to down on this kid, he did dawn the black and gold and wanted to give us his all while he was here. Just things could have been handled in a better way but we are still talking about college ball and they're still young kids. We Buffs fans are better than that, no one needs to take a cheap Mayweather shot at D-Scott.

I think everyone agreed that d. scott made the best decision to leave. The situation was all ****ed up. This issue is why it was ****ed up. D2 FJLKDSFJK

I think Embree would have kick scott and his bull**** work ethic out of the program. Can you really see a guy who shows up consistently over weight and without having read the play book making under EB and Embo?

as to the performance? call me when it is a real team not florida A&M, he had something like 30 yards on 17 carries against ND.

i know a USF poster on another board and i asked how DS was doing....he said he was running #2 on the depth chart so i think he's still some proving to do as per "potential" v. "production". but, i have no hard feelings toward the guy and wish him well.

Well...Jon would have given him the benefit of the doubt, and tried to see if he could make it work. Who cares at this point. But I wish him well, and hope that that next top RB recruit we land wins the Heisman.

Somebody needs to tell Eric Kiesau that D Scott stopped eating donuts on his couch.

Alienating DScott was one of the stupidest things the last group of coaches did. They guy had talent and he seemed like a good kid that wasn't going to try and bash people's heads in with rocks. He obviously needed some motivation, but benching him and intentionally turning the fans against him was not the way to do it. There was going to be one star on that team, and it was going to be the kid playing leapfrog.

Scott looked good when they lined him up in the I with a fullback in front of him in that game against NU where that kid made the crazy long kick at the end to beat us. That was Scott right?

As for his work ethic, were any of you people who take shots at him for it actually in the weight room/class room/film room with him to see his bad work ethic?

If they put D Scott in a power running formation he would have had a lot better chance here. The spread was not the offense for him.
