Not so fast, my friend ... (was: P12 finalizing details ....)

Letting uterus into your conference is like swallowing radium, sure you'll have a healthy glow for a while, but eventually the cancer it causes kills it's host.

Signed,

SWC and Big 12-2-1

But we gain games in Texas and Oklahoma. That's significant for us. CU recruiting hinges on both California and Texas. Oklahoma puts out about what Colorado does, maybe a bit more.

Recruiting in Texas is an angle that has not been brought up enough in all this Pac expansion talk. It's very important that the conference gets a team in the state of Texas.

Nice and those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it

i'm pretty sure OK puts out quite a bit more D-1 players than CO.

Okie's got three 4* prospects and twenty-three 3* prospects in the Rivals database this year.

CO's got six 4* prospects and and four 3* prospects on Rivals.

Also, we've got three 2* guys committed to BCS programs to OK's none and OK only has one guy outside its top six that's committed to a BCS program (Tulsa's loading up on most of the other guys).

As I said, the recruiting's maybe a bit better there.

Is there any West-Coast source that is confirming this? If its just coming out of Austin, I'm going to assume its more smoke and mirrors.

As a follow-up, in 2011 CO put 7 guys into BCS programs. OK put 17.

OK is a bit better. We'll be in the mix for a guy or two a year. I'm glad we'll have the connection.

17 is more than double CO's number. i'd say that's more than "a bit".

Really? The real issue is TV viewers for TV revenue.

Honestly, the Pac is stuck with Colorado and its small base of whining "fans" that seem more disinterested than anything else. I'm still trying to figure out why the Buffalos are in OUR league. You bring nothing but moaning and groaning.

First of **** you!

Second

**** you Lick my balls.

Last.

I am gonna have to give up college ball and follow highschool now I guess. This sucks

We've also got a bunch of guys who went to AFA, WYO and CSU and they have similar to Tulsa. But either way you look at it, you're talking about 10 extra guys in play a year from Oklahoma. Some years we may get a couple.

To put it another way, Oklahoma is exactly the same as Washington for recruiting. I like having them in our footprint, but they're not game changers for us like Texas and California.

Edit: On the "a bit" thing, 3 is triple 1. So what? It's the whole numbers that matter.

You're full retard.

UT in the Pac would be like the pigs in Orwell's Animal Farm. Eventually the motto will be 'All Universities are equal, but some are more equal than others.' Texas has shoreline on the Gulf which is essentially the Atlantic. Go East horns. **** Texas!

No wonder you are pimping Texas. You sound just like them. One big difference is that their football team has actually won something since the Eisenhower administration.

Eh, this troll reminds me of a UT fan. Without the actual relevance to back his **** up.

Easy there killer, how many MNC does CU have, and how long has it been?

Why do you continue to troll here? I've never understood you people. Shouldn't you be on Big ____ boards convincing the conference how relevant you are?

We've got 1 from 20 years ago. I'm not the one going to a Cal board preaching that they're a weak link in the conference. CU's football success dwarfs Cal's. And if he wants to go into televisions, the fact is the Pac could dump Cal and lose no television sets because they're a duplicate to Stanford. I didn't start the smack and I don't want to run it because I like Cal a lot and like being in the same conference as them, but this guy's a douche.

Probably a fusker in bear clothing.
