Odds aTm gets shanghaied back to the B 12-2-1?

Will aTm be shanghaied back to Bevo's harem?

I think aggie is too far down the road to change their minds now. Bailer is going to continue to get paid to be Whorn's slave gimp so as far as they care everything is right in the world.

I am moderately serious here. Supposedly, the SEC invite is contingent on aTm getting a waiver from any suit against aTm and SEC. Bailer, and according to some, KU, KjSU, Mizzery and ISU have not given such a waiver. Why would they? The B12-2-1 has taken such a PR beating, keeping Aggie in tow would make them look strong. With the threat Bevo and dirt burglar may leave now gone, it seem to be in the B12-2-1's interest to pump up their ranks and fence out the SEC from TX recruiting areas.

I can't see why they wouldn't take this opprtunity to rub aTm's nose in it, especially after their big boys (UT and OU) got their dicks knocked in the dirt by LS.

Aggie officials have in the past few days repeatedly made it VERY clear they "do not intend stay a member of the Big 12 past this season".

Yeah, I saw that too, and OU had "very warm, positive conversations " with the P12, they just didn't realize that warm feeling was LS peeing on their leg. If the reports are right and the SEC offer is contingent on a waiver, and Aggie can't get the waiver, what are they gonna do? The P12 isn't offering, the SEC won't without the waiver, the B10/12? Doubtful. The ACC? Maybe. The Big LEast? Probably the only BCS AQ that would jump at adding the Aggies. This could be bad for the folks in Collie Station.

They could go independent for one season, then join the $EC in 2013 - no conference baggage attached.

There's obviously issues with doing this, but if they are serious, could get them their "out".

Their reason for not giving the waiver was that they didn't want to remaining Big12-whatever to implode leaving them out in the cold. BigWhatever is "stable" again so they will grant the waiver.

aTm wants to be gone and will be unless Rick Perry prays hard enough for them to stay.

Aggy being aggy - they're gonna stay in the Big 12. Just a hunch. They may want out, but UT has been beaten up pretty good, and aggy might feel like they can have their cake and eat it too.

0% The lawsuits were from the schools who were going to be kicked to the MAC. Now that they are going to cash "big boy" checks, they have no reason to sue. Aggie is gone, like yesterday is gone. like Elvis and his mom...
