Anyone see what Darrell Scott is up to?

I saw someone comment on his last game last week but yesterday he was on a total terror for USF. http://www.tampabay.com/sports/college/in-first-start-usf-bulls-rb-darrell-scott-unstoppable/1192261

I think our last coaching staff is to blame for a lot of his problems at CU. And watching Speedy get banged up and try to go between the tackles the last few weeks, I feel having a strong bruising and fast back like Scott is exactly what we need to complement our speedier, shiftier backs like Stewart and Jones. Do we have a good recruit like that for 2012?

I think D Scott was forced to do too much early here and and once his expectations weren't met, things tunred south with thst relationship.

The transfer was good for him. He really needed the motivation boost. If he stayed I don't think he would put #'s like that up here. He would have remained a lazy fat ass

Who gives a **** what D Scott is up to,he's not a Buff anymore

Quitting on your team in the middle of a season is a ****** thing to do. It's a different story if he transferred in the off season.
Agreed on that point but how much did it affect us? Looks like he was the smart one in this case.

Something tells me you don't understand the word "entrusted".

I think people much more powerful than you or I retreated from the meaning of the words long, long ago.

Darrell Scott was not in a good situation here. I wish him the best. Given the quality of coaching he received I can't really hold it against him.

I don't get the hate for DS. The way he left was poorly done, but the kid will get no hate from me. He committed to play here when he really had no reason to believe in us. Things were obviously not working out, he left, good luck to him. Calling him a fat lazy prick is about one level above sending death threats to a ****** coach imo.

I don't get the hate for DS.....

Really? He was getting playing time and he quit in the middle of a season and that's ok to you? I don't get THAT!

Most coaches would NEVER have had interest in DS after that chicken-**** move. You don't bail on your team no matter how bad your coaching is... Never, ever, ever. That's a serious character flaw there that screams "I'm bigger than my teammates". See ya.

Note that Rippy and Obi played a lot less and they never quit. Not that we would have noticed as they didn't play nearly as much as DS.

He QUIT on his team.... Quit!

He was barely playing.. you make it sound like he was just ditching his team in the middle of D-Day.

Like I said, it was a ****** way to leave, but some of you guys on here hate him and I don't get that. I think he needed to move on and we needed to move on from him. He wasn't going to turn things around here, when he left didn't really matter to me.

Connor Wood left his team RIGHT before the season, should we hate on him too?

He should have left when Josh Smith left. I wish the guy luck. He seems like a good kid that needed a second chance elsewhere. I'm glad to see he's turned things around.

He did okay yesterday. 18 carries 88 yards and a TD. Team is ranked #18 in the country and he has solidified his position as the starter.

a position he was gifted when the starter quit the team after spring camp.
