Nubs vs Badgers - first Big 10 game for the corn.

I think NU goes down by 14. The top tier of the B1G dominates Nubs. Nebraska relies too much on their QB. Wisconsin is multi-dimensional and Wilson will eat up the black shirts. Bo Pelini aneurysm by the half is even odds. Nub trolls on big ten boards drops dramatically. I am so happy those pricks are not here any more.

I have come to find Wiscy very objectionable. Routing out-manned opponents and choking in big games, but still this is unl. I hope they (UW) do prevail - sort of the lesser of two reds.

Before Wisky got the NCSU QB, I was thinking this would be a close game but with that QB, I think Wisky wins this one. They were already a solid football team that only got better when that QB joined.

This. Darkhorse for MNC.

Hearing NU fans bought $1500 tickets and donated $1000+ to UW so they could get tickets to this game. Also expected to bring 20-40K fans. Wow.

This coming from the guy that said Northern Colorado was going to bring 20,000 people to Ft. Collins for the CSU game?

No this was directly said by NU and UW fans. UW fans are predicting a NU take over on Saturday.

as brother jed smock used to say in front of the umc: the university of wis-con-SIN!!!! will prevail in this game.

I highly doubt this. Wiscy fans, same with OSU fans, strike me as pretty hardcore on their team. Their stadium is always full. Of course, when the game is on there will really be no way to tell because they all look alike...

Which is why NU fans donated to get tickets. It's all over Rivals by NU, UW, and other schools.

Don't mix internet message board rumors with fact, which you regularly do. Wisconsin fans have been buying and donating for these same tickets for years. They are not some Johnny come lately. I seriously doubt that, given the huge build up for this game since the Nubs were admitted to the Big 10, all of the sudden those same fans up and vanished like a fart in the wind and the Nubs swooped in to grab them.

I'm having a hard time believing it's a rumor when damn near every UW fan commented on it saying that it was true.

I genuinely want Wiscy to run up the score in this one. But I have a sinking feeling that the ****ers will somehow pull this one out due to the team speed, which most B1G teams aren't used to seeing.

This game is a fascinating matchup, no one should let their dislike for Nebraska to dismiss it. Taylor Martinez seems to have regressed, or at least not improved, while the Badgers have one of the most dangerous QBs in CFB. I think Wisconsin wins by +20.

You have absolutely no concept of scale do you? How many messages have you read from actual Wisconsin ticket buyers? Let's give you a generous number at 1000. Which is, I am betting, a lot more than the actual number. Camp Randall seats almost 100,000 people. You are basically getting a sampling of 1% of the actual seats in the stadium. Not that you will, but seriously think about it...

In 'tini's defense (wtf?), there are many articles out there saying there will be at least 20k Huskers in Madison. How many H*skers actually infiltrate remains to be seen, but they'll get a sizable amount into the stadium I'm sure

Estimates vary on how many Nebraska fans will converge on Madison, but police say it could range from 20,000 to 40,000 for a game that marks Nebraska’s debut in the Big Ten and matches two top-10 programs.

Keep in mind it is referring to how many are coming to Madison, not how many will be in the stadium.
