That will be our record.

I'm gonna take a little break from this board. It might be for 10 minutes, it might be for the night, it might be for a week, or it might be for the season. I just need to try and not think about this right now.

Thanks for the tickets phillybuff, the kids had fun!

Yeah I'm starting to agree with you unless we can get healthy and the team gets pissed.

The only winnable games remaining are Arizona (although Foles might torch us) and UCLA.... if we hit 3 wins, that will be good, if we SOMEHOW get 4.... then Embree will be showing promise in his coaching...

Just scheduled a spa weekend with a girlfriend on the weekend we play in Seattle. I can't sit in the same house as my husband when my beloved Buffs go down to his team. Not this year.

well we might win one more game by sheer dumb luck, ucla and then slick rick gets fired might be poetic.

Wake me up when we're sniffing the top 25 again. should be about 10 yrs at this rate.

I seem to recall the op giving me a world of **** for being "too negative" about two weeks ago; perhaps I am misremembering.

Getting married that weekend. Needless to say I will not be checking in on the Buffs that day. Well maybe after hour 3 of the reception.

I'd like to say that I'm through with the team and the board, but I know that I would be lying. Like a battered spouse caught in the cycle of domestic violence, I just can't stay away. (In no way intended to belittle true victims of domestic violence, but you get the point). That said, I've never been much of a drinker, but I get the sense I may be a professional alcoholic by the time this season is over.

How do I sign up for that gig, and what does it pay?

I think the next three games we might lose by a combined points of 135+ to 35.

Stanford - No chance - Blow Out
Washington - No chance (Road game)
Oregon - No chance - Blow Out
Arizona State - Road game so I give our odds of winning 15%
USC - 8% chance of winning this one, we may get lucky and it may be a blizzard and it is at night.
Arizona - 15% chance of winning this one.
UCLA - Road game, we lose.
Utah - Road game, we lose.

yeah I could see 1 and 12 as a real possibility. I think we will get lucky and win one more.

We probably get lucky and win one more along the way, but 2-11 isn't exactly going to have top recruits dying to play for the Buffs. We are in deep, deep **** right now, and it's hard to see next year's results being much better, even with a few good young prospects.

I'm worried about recruiting too. I hope we can manage to retain the current verbals and pick up a couple blue chips. Stranger things have happened. It goes without saying that we'll only get players that like the idea of building a program rather than joining a top team right now. Players like Wes Brown have said as much, so hopefully we land him and a few others. One can hope. As for this year, I thought we'd beat WSU so I won't even guess how many games we'll win now. I'm worried that Stanford and Oregon will blow us out though.

We can't seem to sustain any momentum in games. Other than OSU where we never seemed to be in the game, we could have had better results in the other losses. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying we were one play away. That said, when Polk got the pick we had to settle for a FG that got blocked (Polk probably should have cut back against the RB and he would have had a TD, but can't blame him, he made a great play). Later in the first half we seemed to be building momentum when Hansen threw the pick. Can't fault him too much since he hasn't turned the ball over much, but that was a bad throw and he's had a lot of accuracy issues so far. In the second half, we drive down the field and score only for WSU to respond right away. We later go ahead by 10 with 5 minutes left only for WSU to march down the field and respond right away. The last couple of minutes aren't worth re-living.

I still think we pull off one shocker of a win. At our current state, any win will be considered a shocker. But, give me 2-11. We've pissed away the few games on the schedule I really thought would be wins, so I don't see much else other than getting lucky once.

The good news is there is probably only 1 game left where we won't simply get blown out of the water.....almost easier to deal with the blow outs than ****ting the bed up 10 with 5 mins to go

1 and 12 it is. The Buffs can't stop anyone late. And on offense they fizzle in the crunch other than the game with the Lammies. Perfect recipe for repeated losses.

We make too many mistakes. Costly mistakes. Like turnovers and penalties. To me its a question of preparation which causes me to be concerned about coaching.

No way I am going to tell anyone this team will not finish 1-12. Very likely now. Embo will eventually lose the 30 or so seniors (if he ever had them on board to start with) and then it is going to get really had.
