Hell of a game. Your kids played their hearts out and there is no reason they will not win some the rest of the year, I know you will and I will be rooting for you the rest of the season.

Your team can play as WSU has been there before and it sucks when the previous coach F'd you on depth. Do not give up on Embree as it took Wulff 4 years to be able to even line up a team that could win against BCS foes. Embree is an alum just like Wulff, so they going to die for their school and may never leave if they are successful. The culture change is a bitch and when his 85 scholi kids are there, it will be different just like today.

If you watched the post game on TV Wulff was almost in tears, that is no BS. Embree will bring in kids that will be the same mold as him, just like Wulff has, give him a chance. I grew up the son of a coach and have first hand knowledge what it take to rebuild even a HS program that was a dead man walking. It takes 3 years even in HS to change culture, so be patient.

I have been receiving tweets all night about how great your fans were today and I hope we can reciprocate the same on your trip the Palouse.

Good luck and please lord find a way to beat UW.

Still smarting from the loss today, but have been very pleased with the classiness of our new conference foes and there fans. Well wishes to you as well for the remainder of the season.

nice words but unfortunately this is the 2nd coach that left the cupboard bare. Its like a trend now.

This year is going to suck for us. We just don't have the talent on the field and the talent we have has been taught to lose and like it.

Have to repeat the comments about the classy PAC fans though, just pisses me off that we screwed up a 10 point lead and didn't send you guys home less happy about the trip out.

Great post (as have been all your posts). You will always be welcome here (at least until the week before we meet at the Pac 12 championship game).

Hey ... we can dream, can't we?

Seriously, you'll even be more than welcome then.

And don't be a stranger in the meantime.

**** off. Not interested in any kiss ass posts by lame ass second rate fans from pathetic teams.

Class ... pure class.

But given the POS city you're (apparently) from) I guess it's to be expected.

Dallas is the pimple on the ass of a state that is the crack whore of the nation.

Actually, I am from Colorado, and I actually graduated from CU. I suspect you never sat through a class at CU.

What would the guy on the Buffalo do in this situation? I think he would face-punch a cougar or rescue a baby or something; not turn on his comrades. Think about it...

this thread is weird. Coug fan, glad you had fun. Win some games this year so I don't feel absolutely terrible about this loss.

Coug, you are ok and loved seeing you here. Buff Nation is hurting and like you said, the culture change is going to take time. We will se where we are 2 seasons from now because we are going to struggle this year and next. Good luck the rest of the way and I am glad the experiences with Buff fans was a good one. Just wish we could have sent you home with a lose. : )

Congrats on the win. You've got a gutsy team that will make a push towards possibly getting to 6-6 and that bowl game you guys have waited so long for. As for us, we're in deep, deep **** right now. Things might get even worse before they get better. Even after 5+ years of futility, it's clear we've got a long, long ways to go before we have any chance at being even remotely respectable.

Thanks for your posts leading up to the game. If even any of the other schools have intelligent & pleasant fans like you, that would already be more than in the Big 12 (some are pleasant, but not very intelligent).

Good luck with the rest of your season.

I concur

Heard great things from our fans who made the trip. I have to say that WSU has truely been there and done that as far as a previous coaching staff leaving crums in the cupboard. We relate. Do not let the record of the past few years fool you though, there is solid talent on the WSU team now. Wilson and Karstetter are very good high level playmakers. I am interested to see what you guys do the rest of the year because with the way you played against us and Cal I think you are going to sneak up on someone. That RB is very good, and if you OL gets a bit more settled I think you will present some matchup problems. I have enjoyed talking with you folks, and hope the rest of your season sees your team take a solid step forward. Good luck the rest of the season.

I appreciate the WSU fans dropping buy--you guys have been great.

But Cougar pity only heightens my frustration/disbelief in our current state of affairs.
