Hawkins (the CB) is back.

Per Embree's post practice audio today. After him are safeties. Eeep.

You could have come up with a much better title for this thread. You got a hanging curveball and hit a weak grounder to second. I would have gone with, "With his team in disarray, Embree turns to Hawkins for help."

Some of us are not professional trolls. Not to mention that is an inaccurate statement. I'm gonna give you a fly out.

So from the news we can gather, J-Hawk was sitting with injury and not playing chicken in disciplinary traffic. That plus the story of him being tied to CU through three head coaches now and I'm really appreciative of the work he's put in, regardless of what he's able to contribute. Would be nice to see another guy in the secondary with the right attitude and who knows the defensive playbook a little better than most.

J-Hawk had some family things he needed to take care of. This is a good guy who will give 100% to help the team win. I'm very glad to have him back in the lineup. He will help. We need to get Sandersfeld healthy, too. They may not be the fastest guys on the field, but you can do some good things when you've got reliable 5th year seniors on the field.
