Okie St - Kansas

remember when people thought Gill might have been a good candidate for CU? I do.

I better be careful in any mockery, as Luck has gotta be licking his chops at our secondary. I'd hate to see us pull a Kansas here...

Agreed, he's gone.

It's only season two, right? He might get it right with time.

I do remember a bunch of huskers swinging by to tell us that Kansas would be a powerhouse because Gill used to be a husker. Though I guess it's not that different from the logic we use when supporting our own coaching staff...

As a football fan I don't think we are suppose to use that, it is all emotion right? :pissed2::dance5::angry3::dance3::angry2::thumbsup2::pissed4::dance4:

Kansas inked a very one-sided contract with Gill. It pays him $2 million per year starting in 2010. There is no buyout. Therefore, if they made a change at season end, it would cost them $6 million or something a bit less in a negotiated buyout. Remember that KU is already paying up big for former coach Mangino and former AD Perkins.

I think this is the reason they took the cash from the shorthorn network to allow the UT-KU to be broadcast there.
