Oregon and Arizona State are going to name their score against CU. It's going to be awful.

This season is lost. There's no shot at a bowl game. The only thing CU can do is hope to pull out a couple meaningless games at the end of the year.

We, as fans, need to stick this out. We don't need to be happy. We don't need to be complacent. But we need to continue to show up. We need a full stadium against Arizona at the end of the year. Our coaches are relying on us to show that we support the Buffs even when they're terrible. Anybody can fill a stadium when you're ranked and have a Heisman Trophy favorite at QB (or maybe not, Stanford), but it takes real dedication to show up when your team sucks.

Now is the time for us, as fans, to show what we're made of. This is how we can do our part to be a part of the solution as opposed to contributing to the problem. We don't have to accept losing, but we do have to continue to show up. It's critical, IMO. Everybody has his/her job in this. That's our job.

And, people need to stop being whiny bitches about QBs, coaches, and other such things during and after these awful blowouts.

Agreed, I have been trying not to post anything negative (leading to 0 posts in the football forum) and only my usual smart ass stuff in other forums.

Not only will I show up, but I will increasingly do my part to support the Boulder economy through my liquor purchases.

So long as the event staff can tolerate a far more inebriated rraalph 3000 at the next few home games....I will certainly be in attendance giving it my all!!

Even though DII is gone I am still holding him accountable for my liver transplant in the future.

Good post, Sacky!

What pisses me off is that this is the rebuilding that should have began a year ago, and we were already way behind.

Harrumph!

this!!!

g-d it!!! i am still going to fly my CU flag and put my CU magnets on the g-rauge door just as i do every day i am at home on a college football saturday. i will wear my CU hat every day at work. i wll wear my CU pullover on dang near every overnight i am on. i am not giving up on this team nor the coaching staff. i know i cant make any home game. i dont care. i will do what i can to watch every game i can and hope for the best for the kids that wear the black and gold.

i wont allow the negativity to get to me. the team is going through a lot of growing pains. the new staff is being challenged. i believe that this year will pay great dividends in the years to come.

i
i believe
i believe that
i believe that we
i believe that we will
i believe that we will win!!!!

Not quite troo, sacky.

Pull out 2 or 3 wins in the last 3 games and give the returning players some confidence -- a little something to build on. No, these 3 games aren't do-or-die on the road to a NC game. But it could give them a little positive traction to take into the next season.

I'm glad to hear you guys will keep showing up. However, do we even have enough players showing up to field a defense next week?

Absolutely correct Sacky. It isn't going to be instant and make take more time than we expect but Buff football will return. At some point in the future we will again be a team that other teams don't want on the schedule.

We knew that this year was going to be rough, we almost all were here when we were calling for a coaching change and gave all the reasons why a change was needed, those reasons are what we are seeing now. We did not know and could not expect that we would be losing 7 out of 8 of our top corners plus all the other guys we have lost to injury.

I am behind Embree, his staff, and any player who wants to buy in 100% to what that staff is bringing completely.

This is awesome. I name thee true Buffaloes!!!! Look, Embree is building this the right way, long-term. In order to do that he has to clear the site, level it, do some environmental remediation and then start over. Right now, he's still leveling this thing and remediating. Next comes digging the foundation. After that, concrete work, framing etc.... It's going to be a while before the granite goes in the kitchen.

Losing is the insult on top of the injuries.

I remain proud of the players who have sacrificed so much while wearing Black and Gold.

The number of broken bones, torn ligaments and blood that had been shed in the pursuit of victory are not trivial.

I believe that winning is important. I also believe it's important for Buff fans to support these young men who have given their all in a quest for glory. It's character time.

it is all good. i remember how sweet it was when Coach Mac got the team over the hump and then on to greatness. after having sucked so terribly under the fairbanks regime, it was a fantastic feeling when we could look up and say say "hey, the Buffs... they are... they are... not good... no. they are better than good... they are DOMINATING." this could happen again.

in the interim, i recommend the copious consumption of demon alcohol.

Agreed, darkest before the dawn. My wife thinks I'm nuts for still supporting the Buffs. I'm not crazy, just mildly codependent .

Going to be that much sweeter when we get back to the top. Notice it is not an if.
