AP

1. LSU 2. Okie St 3. Stanford; 4. Alabama 5. Boise St.; 6. Oregon; 7. Oklahoma; 8. Arkansas; 9., Clemson; 10. VT

As I said in chat last night, they cannot keep a one loss Bama in front of an unbeaten Stanford or Okie State.

I think the stage is set for LSU v Stanford if Stanford beats Oregon next week.

that is a big if, having watched both play in person, Stanford is going to have their hands full.

Okie State or Stanford would be disappointing in the title game imo. And Boise State

Okie Lite has such a bad defense. I can't see them continuing to outscore good opponents. It is going to be tough.

Oklahoma is their only true test left and the Sooners just lost their best player for the season. Game could go either way, but I like Okie lites chances. And remember they don't have to win a title game, just win the next 3.

My predictions

LSU wins out, but gets a good scare from Arky.
Okie lite loses to OU
Stanford loses to Oregon

Then what?

Funny that Colorado fans have more confidence in Oregon winning than I do as a Duck fan. I think Owusu should sit because this is 2 concussions in 2 weeks and his 3rd this year so if the team cares about his future he will sit. If Oregon's front 4 can get pressure without having to blitz Oregon has a chance. The Ducks also need DT to step up in this game otherwise there is a very small chance of winning.

I don't see LSU winning out. I actually think Stanford will win next week.

It is anticipated that the BCS polls this week will be:

1. LSU
2. OSU
3. Alabama
4. Stanford
5. Boise State
6. Oklahoma
7. Arkansas
8. Oregon
9. Clemson
10. Virginia Tech

Arkansas is not a for sure win for LSU.

So if Arky beats LSU, UO beats Stanford, OU beats Lite, and we end with all those one loss teams, who goes? I guess SEC champ if they have one loss and PAC champ if they have one loss?

Leash got this one already...

Houston vs. Boise for the BCS national championship!!!!!

Seriously, Boise would be in there if they stay unbeaten. I can't wait for the weeks worth of bitching and moaning around here if that happens...

I don't see a 1 loss Pac team getting in ahead of a 1 loss SEC or Big 12 team. In your scenario, Big 12 vs. SEC or SEC vs. SEC (boo) IMO.

While both Boise and Houston would be taken to the woodshed by any current national title contender, I would love to see it happen.
