than a Nittany Lion fan with a chance to still win the Big 10 this year with all these disgusting stories. How graphically sick all these allegations are...

Think the players will be overly excited to take a post game shower in their facilities again? Whose the lucky player that gets the Sandusky shower head this week?

Hell, I'd rather be a Nebraska fan than a Ped State fan. Barely.

This thing could totally crater that program. They're going to need a lot of admin support and a lot of fan support going forward.

The PSU situation is completely sick, but at least they get to throw the people who brought them down in jail - who do we get to throw in jail?

I actually think the silver lining for PSU (if there can be such a thing in such a horrendous episode) is that this will more than likely finally usher JoPa out the door and they can move on to being a real program, and not one propping up a well past his prime figurehead coach for the sake of the record books.

Wha??

Penn State is 8-1, undefeated in the Big 10, and possibly heading to the Rose Bowl.

Not really offended, but what is being thrown around pretty much makes football irrelevant and not a funny comparison.

Yep. PSU fans are really upset about the 8-1 record (5-0 conference) and #12 ranking. Having a figurehead coach seems to be working out for them.

They'll probably take a step back when Paterno leaves and they bring in Golden or Schiano.

I dunno, Golden and Schiano might think twice...would you want to follow a legend AND have to live in the stench of Sandusky et al.?

It's a valid point, although the "legend" (or is he a "leader", hmmmm) stuff will go quickly as the result of the Sandusky revelations.

There's a question on PSU's daily campus paper, The Collegian...

"If you were a player recruited by Sandusky, did you have a little brother at the time? Age 10? 12? 9? Did Sandusky invite him to join you on your campus visit? And if he did go with you on your campus visit, and you were out with the college players, who took care of your little brother?"

VERY FRIGHTENING STUFF. Their paper is asking a lot hard questions. "Why didn't the mother in 1998 pursue the issue further? Was she frightened off? Was she paid off?"

"The GA who witnessed the 2002 shower-rape - he's been on JoePa's staff ever since. Now he's the Wide Recieivers Coach. Was this part of the price for his silence? How has he felt attending meetings and fund-raisers with Jerry Sandusky? Crossing each other's paths in the Athletic Department hallways? They had offices just down the way from each other for years."
