Anyone else had it with the security lines?

Math - how does it work?

Dammit, I wanted to make sure my boys got to see Ralphie run on Saturday, so we got in line to go into the stadium 30 minutes before kickoff. Didn't make it into the stadium until just before kickoff. Missed Ralphie once again. **** you, Argus. **** you, Mike Bohn for instituting this ridiculous pat down policy.

If they're still doing this next year, I'll just go in late. If we're gonna miss Ralphie anyway, might as well wait until the lines die down.

Does anyone here feel that the pat downs are making us safer against the threat of a terrorist attack at Folsom?

Where did you try to enter the stadium?

Going in through the gates over where the Bronze Buffalo Statue is towards Balch....I never had an issue all season...longest I had to wait was maybe 5-10 minutes and that's usually leaving the tailgate for the game 20-30 minutes prior to kickoff time

Maybe I got lucky I guess.....

I've had pretty short wait times at the security lines. I think the Wazzu game was the worst at about 6 or 7 minutes in front of the bronze buffalo.

It is stupid. Since every P12 game will be on the tube now, I ask myself aloud, why bother making the trip? My kids have activities that fall on Saturdays, rescheduling them so I can get there and be patted down like some criminal really doesn't do it for me. I took the whole family to the Wazzu game and missed Ralphie because of the idiotic pat downs. It does absolutely nothing to enhance security and is just another example of Bon-Bon the politician sucking up to TPTB. He got a memo or a suggestion from somebody and couldn't wait to smooch some fanny and comply, whether his paying guests like it or not. I have pretty much written off NFL games for the same reason.

THe only problems I had this year were for Oregon. Went in thru the main gates about 15 minutes before the game, and only took me a couple minutes to get thru

Worst one I had was at Mile High. After waiting in a long line, I had to wait another 15 minutes for my wife to get through because it was taking them much longer to do security screening on the women's line.

We were outside for a long time before Wazzu, otherwise I've had pretty good luck getting in near the bronze buffalo.

We went in the North East gate and waited maybe 5 minutes 15 minutes before kickoff. In our seats 5 minutes before Ralphie ran. Wasn't even patted down; they barely looked in the back pack.

USC was the one that caused issues for me, but overall they need to upgrade the entrance/exit system.

No issues since I bitched at bohn about wazzu. Went in from the south side of the stadium. no real line.

We tailgate at Sewall and enter through the gate on the NW corner by the rec center... It's kind of annoying to have to walk across both player entrances to get to our seats on the East side, but the line is always short and easy. I'd recommend that entrance to everyone, though it only really works if you're tailgating west of the stadium.

We went in through the Gold Lot since our seats were in Sec 120 and we tailgate just to the east of the stadium. Line wasn't even that long, it was just ridiculously slow as the Argus asshats took their damn sweet time patting everyone down. Once again, did not see a single item confiscated or a single person turned away.

Security theater sucks.

It took me 1 minute to get through security at the NE side of the stadium 40 minutes before KO

Worst by far - and it's not even close - was in Denver. I can't think of a time in Boulder where I spent more than 5 minutes in the security line. I don't think I've ever gotten into Denver inside of 15 minutes.

I really don't think I'm going to the Denver game next year. It does nothing but annoy the living hell out of me.

Absolutely...as long as the terrorists only wear bombs strapped to their biceps or outer thighs.

SE entrance was pretty quick for all of the games other than USC for us. Max wait of 5 minutes except for USC when we got caught up in the huge flood of people right before kickoff.

I know I was thinking of perpetrating a terrorist act until I remembered that a dis-engaged college drop-out was going to give me a lazy pat-down and ask to see my bald-spot. Thank God for them. The illusion of safety is better than actual safety, I guess.

No issues for us. Went in by Balch and did not have a line at all and I think we were there about 40 min before kickoff. Wanted to have the 4 year old see Ralphie and must say he was amazed.

dude, save the money and headaches....and grill in the backyard with your crew, get some nice bourbon and a nice mini-keg. my ticket group has been doing that for several years. we never looked back. and maybe it lets Mike B. know the time is over for CU-CSU in Denver...from our side. it was fun for a while but now it's silly. i'd rather watch on TV than sec 4000 that we used to get v. pretty decent seats at Folsom.

I've had no issues I get into the stadium about 30-40 minutes early. Usually just walk right up, although I enter at the student entrance.

Perfect when you take your hat off angle your head so the sunlight reflects off into his eyes and we will sneek a bunch of booz past him while he is blinded!

Sick and tired of the pat downs. Because some numbskull takes a stun gun into a game we all get groped to every sporting event know.

Went to the ASU game. Got to the game 25 minutes before kickoff. Walked right in with no patdown.

Can we find out what has been confiscated this year at the gates. I would be curious to find out what they have found to make my gameday experience that much safer.

I would love to hear this, although I seriously doubt they would ever let us know. I have not seen a single person get anyting confiscated, or be denied admission due to the patdowns.

Booze and beverage containers are likely the most commonly confiscated items.

I always use this gate and have never had a problem their. Using any of the student gates is always going to take alot more time.
