As BBads stated in the other thread we head out on thursday night. Road trippin' to Cali with 3 bros to see the Buffs end the road streak losing streak and see the beautiful women of Southern California. Doesn't get much better than that. Weather looks great for the weekend and In the words of Tyler, Embo, Ryan Miller and of course BP "We're gonna win"

I don't normally point out grammar, but that's just unfortunate...

In with Frumpy and a few others. So does everyone do the tailgate at UCLA? I hear it's pretty great. I just want to make sure we're not missing out on anything else that I don't even have on my radar...

Good chance I'll be there plus one. Searching the tailgate forum I don't see anything official happening. Is there a plan for an All Buffs tailgate and if so, when and where?

Look like we will be parking in Old Pasadena and taking the shuttle over. Any recommendations on where to get grab some beers and lunch?

I just a got a parking pass for lot 6 from a friend who can't use it. Looks like I will be tailgating.

We ended up getting tickets to the CU sponsored event since we we flying and wouldn't have any of our tailgating gear.

The hell? Why you bailing?

Long story...Miscommunication with the dude who was driving.

Worked out though cuz my mom really wanted me to go to vail with the fam this weekend and now since I am she agreed to buy my colorado pass in full instead of splitting it. So not only do I save the money on the trip but I save like 300 on my pass. As sad as I am that I'm not going my bank account is thrilled haha. Also for some reason I'm more confident that were gonna win since Im not going now, don't know why just feelin it now. We're gonna win.

In +1. Flying out Friday night and also got free tickets to the official CU tailgate, so will at least stop by there.

Question for anyone, we are staying in downtown LA (got two free nights in the hotel) and aren't planning on renting a car. I see there's a light rail line from Union Station to Pasadena, would that be the best bet for getting to and from the game? We would rather not pay for a cab.

The Rose bowl is kind of a pain in the ass to get to from LA. I don't know about a train or light rail.

Yeah it's 11 miles from our hotel. Pain in the ass for sure, but worth the free stay. I know there are shuttles from Old Pasadena, so we just have to figure out how to get there. Gold Line might be our best bet.
