2019 Class - Positional needs & fills

Probably a good place to drop this. Adam has a nice review of recruits to watch that is free over here at 247.
I'm expecting a full class of 25. Maybe more than that if they can convince a guy or two to greyshirt.

I agree. My dream list would be to add -
WR x 2 - Ford + Luckett
DT/DE x 4 - Bandes, Jackson, Wright & Robinson
ILB - Allen & Gbenda
TE - Loving-Black
CB - Rutherford
Clearly a dream to land all of them, but hopefully 1/2 would be awesome!

Seems like we need a punter in the pipeline somewhere. Two seniors (Kinney and Landwehr) and a junior transfer from Vandy (Loy).
Loy will redshirt while he sits out his transfer year. We should bring in a walk on, but we're covered at the position through 2020.

I don’t think Ford ends up here. What does that say when a 5-Star WR wonders when he’ll get playing time? I hope I’m wrong. If they can end close to this it would be incredible!!!
Only thing I want to see after this year are some monsters in the trenches. Tired of not winning those battles.

I’m only assuming that. We are completely stacked at WR.
Dude is an absolutely huge prospect and matchup nightmare. With Ento and Winfree done after this year, he would have a chance to come in and play right away.
We aren’t even close to stacked enough for Ford to think he wouldn’t play from day one here.
Ford will play from day one wherever he chooses to sign. Playing time will play no factor in his decision. We're talking about the WR who dominated the competition at the Elite 11 so completely that analysts were trying to think of comparables from the event in the past.

And yet, Ford is so good he is still at the top of my list. He is so good you wonder if he is better than Shenault. Now, obviously higher ranked out of high school. And has a lot of work to do that LS is great at. But those catches he makes now....jaw dropping. And makes it look easy, when playing against the best. Effortless. He will play immediately no matter where he goes. Might as well have the best scenery to look at while he’s kicking ass on the field.

I hope so. Every now and then, if the coaches are doing their jobs, the are going to find someone they drive that extra 50 miles to see or who only attends that 1 camp they happen to be working. But it should be rare.
Once MT offers those kids, the services will auto bump them to high 3 stars because they trust the offer.
