Ok, so this really just happened 5 min ago. I’m at my aunt and uncle’s house in Virginia. All the extended family has come here for lunch prior to my aunt’s viewing service this evening.

Went to get a refill of tea and one of the ladies helping notices the very small CU logo on my shirt and starts booing, telling me she’s a husker. I say I won’t apologize for the first game, and for beating them a second time when they played Troy. I also said that as a UCF season ticket holder they were welcome for frost.

She then goes into how the last time she was at a CU game she was hit with a snowball that had rocks in it and had THIRTEEN stitches. I had to walk away before I busted out laughing.

I went into the room again to look for my dad’s cane, and asked if they’d seen it. She said “why, so you can hit me with it?” I said “no, so my dad can walk safely.” That shut her corn face up.

I bet she out-weighed you by about 50 pounds, buddy. You could always hit her with the cane and outrun her though!
 
With each passing day and each passing ass whooping the fuskers receive, I love the Scott Frost hire even more. That school just hired their Embree. An alumnus who is loved for his playing but is a complete failure as a head coach.

The only difference is that they’re paying Frosty about five times what we paid Embree for the same results.

I see nothing wrong with it, just the imagination of Nebraska fans once again making something out of nothing and running with it. It doesn't even look like he says that and how in the hell do they then think it was directed at dear old Scotty boy. Can't wait to see what they come up with next.

Is it really? Unfortunately, I know many people that are simply too stupid to know when to shut up. Similarly, you ran into a native of the state that bases their whole existence off this trait.

I feel like we should start making laughing the appropriate response when they do tell us these stories.

Like she says she got 13 stitches from a CU fan and you just go, “Haha, that’s ****ing awesome! Oh man wish I was there for that.”

Wait... I thought Opie said that the talent level wasn't good at nebraska and this "wasn't his team;" shouldn't he be encouraging those guys to leave?

Also- why would it be any surprise that they'd want to go to OSU where Riley's still an analyst (probably until the end of the season) and the OC was also at nubs last year?
