Here are my reactions from previous pressers to the current presser. First one I remember was wonder boys, in parenthesis are kind of what actually happened after my expectations. I openly admit that while I wasn't stoked after many of these, at the end of the pressers for all, I supported them and thought, ok this might work.
1995 RN: This guy is brilliant, players can relate to him since he is so young and he loves to have fun. Everyone in the country wishes he could be their coach (They did have fun too, so much they any lacked discipline at all and everyone DID want our coach and they came and took him).
1999 GB: No non-sense guy, good organization, we aren't going to beat ourselves with stupid penalties now, but man is he boring to listen to (CU didn't beat themselves on the field, but he wasn't the best recruiter and he definitely messed up in other areas).
2006 DH: This guy looks like the Michelin man...wait was he just talking...I mean he seems ok, he must know what he is doing, he built a nice program at Boise (Turns out he WAS the Michelin man and didn't know crap about anything).
2011 JE: He loves this school, a former Buff, pro experience, but man this is a big jump from a TE coach....dude is so quiet..Ah well, I can support him, he is a Buff and he coached in the pros. (He does love the school and that jump was even bigger than I thought).
2013 MM: Who the hell is this guy? He looks like Michelin man 2. But he did take a program that was awful and make them good....I guess I can support that. (Actually, he did know how to rebuild a program and did a nice job doing that with CU, but he didn't know where to go after that)
2018 MT: Holy FLOCK can we play some freaking football right god damn now damn it!! I mean now, give me some freaking pads and let me hit someone. NOW NOW NOW.
