2019 NCAA Tournament Thread

Why arent we talking about UW putting it on USU?
I was just about to post about that. They looked like themselves again. They're tougher with less time to prepare for them, too, with the unusual zone that they play. Good chance to advance to the Sweet 16.

Also, I wanted to mention that I took a peek in to the Duke game and can confirm that Zion is good at basketball. I can also confirm that watching a game with @dyemeduke can get annoying...

Glad to see UO and UW show well. While I get the Buffs not making the tournament, I feel like we’re better than a lot of teams that are in.

By the end of the season we were. But you have to actually beat some tourney-caliber teams or at least avoid losses to sub-NIT level teams if you want to go to the Dance.

Zion is crazy athletic at his size, hell, any size for that matter. Wish he could play some DE or TE for us.

Fo sho. My son was ranting about CU’s OOC schedule. We need to fix that. Oh, and not lose to lesser teams.

Schedule looks like it will be significantly better next year. I expect the team we have will meet that challenge.

Have we gotten any word on next years OOC yet?
Yeah. I think there are only a couple open dates left.

We get San Diego at home for that return game.
CSU & Air Force.
Dayton in Chicago.
Tourney that has 2 mid-major home games and then 2 games in Vegas against better competition.
One other that I'm blanking on is set for 8 out of the 10.

Those final 2 games should include 1 good home & home series like we've had with KU, Xavier, BYU and New Mexico (side note that it's unfortunate we caught UNM during a rough spell for them). Maybe Tad will schedule 2 since we had been overlapping with 1 good at home and the other good on the road each year until the coaching profession blackballed him on scheduling this year after calling out Miller & Enfield on the FBI thing last year.

Don't we play 12 OOC games?

I was 21-2 to start. I am now 22-6 and have lost an Elite Eight team.

It's safe to say the evening session has not been kind to me.

Ha...wish I was watching the games...**** work...love March and first time since 7th grade I haven't filled a bracket. Go Duke though!

Duke dominated the paint, against that team. They play better comp, they are gonna have to start hitting shots outside. They started off a little slow, but got going as it went. If they can even be average outside, good luck beating them.
