I'm always fascinated by the conflict between painting our fanbase as a group that can't even bother to show up and see our team play, and these apparently rabid crazed fans that slash tires and throw pee bags.
How do you reconcile those two views?
Every husker I've met seems to have a story about someone they know who was somehow victimized in Boulder. Frankly, I'm skeptical.

Classiest fans in America...no doubt
Nubs fans treated us pretty well last year in Lincoln. They come out for their tailgates, more PBR than you can shake a stick at fellers. For as lit as 90k stadium can be, releasing balloons red was incredibly stupid. Every corn fan owns a “Frost is the savior” shirt of one variety or the other. Course the didn’t say **** as those 90k departed. No win in boulder can make up for the Buffs popping frosts cherry. The most anticipated homecoming, coach debut of all time for nubs fans fizzled like one of those stupid f***ing red balloons
I'm totally fine treating them like ****. Maybe it's just the older fans and since I am younger I am more targeted, but after the game one guy was talking **** to me from his uber and proceeded to throw his beer bottle out of the car. Not a big deal, but lets not act like they are angels. This is evident by their twitter activity. Bring the assholes back.

i was at the game in corn land last yr...BEFORE the game the nub fans gave us that fake “thanks for coming out crap” like we were a bunch of lambs being led to slaughter...AFTER the game the nubs fan base had a much different attitude towards us... thankfully we were with a ex marine who was 6ft 5’in tall and 250 pounds of pure muscle lol
