How is this guy not a fusker or a seminole?

How is “terroristic” a word? It feels like more of a binary situation. You’re either a husker or not a husker. Huskeristic isn’t a thing.

Well I may have just talked myself out of this position.

All I read was the thread title, and in my head I answered "because he's a **** Baylor guy?"

I still haven't read the linked article, but guessing by everyone's comments, I'm sure Baylor will give him another chance.

Interestingly enough he doesn't look to be rapey enough for Baylor. Of all the stuff he's done none of it appears to of the Baylor dating (no means yes) variety.

Went back and looked and he almost was a Seminole.
Committed to FSU as a HS Jr.
Flipped to Texas as a senior
Went to Texas, RS year complained about playing time, got moved to WR.
Had unspecified issues at Texas, transferred to a JC Arizona Western. Never played a snap there.
Committed to Marshall
Determined that if he went to Marshall he would have to sit for a year, instead decided to continue with JC ball
Wasn't able to grow "personally or characterwise" at Western Arizona so transferred to Iowa Western
Played well at Iowa Western, Brother shot to death in Washington DC while he was in Iowa
Ended up at UTEP, started 8 games and expected to be the starter this upcoming season
Arrested in El Paso for DUI, Possession of less than 2 ozs. of MJ. In the process of the arrest found to be unlawfully carrying a weapon and charged with making "Terroristic threats."

Not major charges because they bonded him out on only $2000. Still trying to figure out how he escaped from going to FSU and never ended up in Lincoln.

Oh well, he can still sign a contract as a UDFA with the Raiders.

I'm wondering what one has to do to unlawfully carry a weapon in Texas.

Perhaps. Also could be unlawful to carry a .22 pistol.

A lot of possibilities. Could be that he had it illegally concealed, could be that there is a law dealing with carrying a loaded weapon while under the influence. May also be that he has some kind of prior conviction or judgement that makes it illegal.

Not going to in any way though rule out the fact that he doesn't look or talk like the police officer and his friends had something to do with the charges. The relatively low bail either means the judge is a UTEP fan or that he doesn't think very much of facts of the case as related to the charges.
