10 yrs in TX to the month since we moved from Littleton, not much has changed 6 weeks from now Fall practice will start.
There's a few things I miss about CO., the aspens in the Fall, the bighorns in Waterton Canyon, Glenwood Canyon, no fleas & Hatch green chiles. I don't miss cracked windshields, not being able to drive my 64 Tbird for 6 months, seeing nebraska license plates, Texans thinking they knew how to drive in snow and not being able to garden through the Winter months.

There are a lot of things I miss about Colorado. I need to find a way to get back there and soon. What I'll miss most about Houston is the diversity and the food that comes with it.
Yeah going from the white peoples Wakanda to Houston and back has to be a pretty big culture shock Lol.

We're an hour and half from Houston, Lake Sommerville. We considered moving back to CO in 17, her employer offered a position in Broomfield, we looked at each other and at the same time said "ain't happening".
Funny I was going through some unpacked boxes from the move a couple of days ago...found an ice scraper and thought why did we pack it?
I'm just challenging you to find a way to tackle winter glass half full. Why "hate" something that won't change - adapt and overcome!

Lol I’ve lived here for 34 years (entire life), I’ve more than adapted to Colorado winters. It doesn’t mean I have to enjoy winter time. Like I’ve said, winter is dead and cold. I like spring, summer and fall because it’s warm and everything is alive. I do stuff in winter, I still have fun but I don’t enjoy cold.
Winter up high is never dead and cold. It's as alive as you can get.

We combined training centers between United and Continental to the one here in Denver. All the Houston guys whined and moaned about house prices, weather etc when they got here. Now, three years later, there is an expansion to a shop in Houston and at least a half dozen of them could have moved back.
Not one of them did.
