'20 CO TE Kole Taylor (Signed to LSU)

We are in the running, even if he commits to PSU now he could be swung back before December.

Saying we are going to use a TE is one thing and he probably wants to believe, but if we actually do use TEs this year that could be the difference in changing his mind.

You’d think every college should have a travel agent on staff if getting the parents to the game is such a big motivator.

Guys, location obviously matters to some, or even a lot of recruits. It obviously is not the main factor to Taylor when 2 of his 3 final Schools are over 1,000 miles away. He is obviously a smart kid and is looking at the right fit that gives him the best fit at playing at the next level.
Just started the process with my kid (at a much lower level) and importance of distance mostly only matters to Mom and if Kid can see themselves truly happy somewhere, distance becomes a greatly diminished factor.

The thought of kids giving two ****s that a School being 4-5 hours away versus a School proving you have a great chance at the NFL is as dumb as people thinking Boulder sells itself in recruiting.
Location factors in about at about 15% of the decision. Case in point: CSU-Pueblo pulls quality athletes. That town, campus, and community is an absolute hell hole.

Providing such a service to a recruit’s family would probably be a violation.
I believe Babar meant that the agent would work with current players not with recruits so I doubt that would be a violation if they did not work with the recruits family. They could probably work with the recruits family if that service was provided at a cost however but with the NCAA who knows.

The single most correlated factor when trying to figure out where a prospect will sign is location (i.e., local school has the advantage). But it's not as strong of a correlation as a lot of people seem to think it is. It's an advantage, usually. It always gets you into the living room to recruit. However, relationship built with coaches, prestige (school & conference), NFL player development, winning, and sometimes academics can be more important for any individual. Taken together, a significant advantage (at least in the recruit's perception of things) on those other factors will almost always top the home field advantage. Case in point -- how every program in the country dreads Stanford recruiting someone in their backyard.

I can't read it, but is UW even mentioned, or is HUFset just assuming due to the picture? Odd picture choice by Gorney
I can't read it either. I made the conjecture from the picture and when you go to the Rivals site there is an animated caption when hovering over the article/picture that states this. Then when you click through to the link the preview has the UW picture but the caption that is barely visible says PSU, CU and LSU. The 24hr rule will provide a better update I suppose.

Back on point not only is he a tall kid but he has long arms as well. Would love to see that kind of a catch radius playing for the Buffs.

LSU is picking up good players but only 7 in state commits out of 20? They have 5 more crystal balled to them at the moment but how big is that class even going to be?

If he’s a heavy lean to LSU, let’s hope he develops a strong case of buyer’s remorse.

Best of luck to Cole. He needs to be ready for Tiger nation. Here is a scene from Gulf Shores a couple of days ago. (Who puts a life sized doll on the beach?)
