Chev bailing on CU and following Tucker to MSU for the same position because he didn't get the HC job, would be laughable.

Assistant coaches are always on the move, whether they are looking for promotions or getting fired. He would not be a lame duck WR coach or Recruiting Coordinator.

This is my take as well. He'd be much better served to just stay here for 2020 and seek an opportunity elsewhere during the normal carousel next offseason if he really wants to leave.

I really think the only guys we're in danger of losing are Rice and Harris.

Tucker just loves getting Quality Control guys promoted

How excited are you about Dorrell as our new HC?

I don't think the PC did anything to change the excitement level. It confirmed what I think most of us probably already knew... That Dorrell is a very genuine, high character guy who is a consummate professional and really wants to be in Boulder. I haven't doubted that he's a good coach who will...

    Buffs at the Combine

I think the 40 and agility drills are good for skill players just to confirm what the tape shows in terms of speed, but don't really think the other on field tests are all that useful. I think they need to tailor the drills to specific positions. Is there any reason a DL/OL need to run the 40...

    Buffs at the Combine

NFL teams would be wise to spend more time evaluating a prospect's mental aptitude and health than how much weight he can do on bench press.

Karl Dorrell introductory press conference (on now)

Jason Harris and his Mom seemed to be all about Tucker and the man he was (at least the man he came across as at their dinner table). I'm really hoping Dorrell is able to provide the same kind of comfort and reassurance to Harris and his Mom.

Karl Dorrell introductory press conference (on now)

I would like someone to ask a follow up to the staff question by asking about recruiting being an AC quality he looks for...

Karl Dorrell introductory press conference (on now)

Good comments on recruiting CA, TX and LA with some spot recruiting in FL. Didn't downplay recruiting or say anything about "developing".

Karl Dorrell introductory press conference (on now)

Yeah I was always confused by the people who said Tucker was really well spoken and crushed press conferences. Thought he was fine but mostly stumbled through them as a speaker, like he was constantly searching for the right thing to say.

I do like how DiStefano brought up the fact that a good football program raises the profile of the entire University

Darrin Chiaverini - CU Interim Head Coach

What do you think Embree did at CU that he would have done differently anywhere else and do you really think it was the difference between between winning 3 games in 2 years and being a 5-6 win team?

Darrin Chiaverini - CU Interim Head Coach

To me, it has more to do with the fact that the vast majority of football coaches "fail" no matter where they go and the same holds true for guys who return to their alma mater.

Karl Dorrell officially named Colorado HC

I take the stability comment as more, getting the program back to consistent bowl games. Two bowl games in 14 seasons across 4 different coaching staffs. Stabilizing in that regard will go a long way to show that Colorado Football can still be at least an average to slightly above average...

Karl Dorrell officially named Colorado HC

I can’t believe RG and LC are okay with that approach, so I’m going to believe there will be an emphasis placed on recruiting until proven otherwise.
