Karl Dorrell introductory press conference (on now)

Likely not visit. He has to get a staff together and get moving on spring ball. Not a lot of time to fly across the country to have face to face meetings. I would expect him to call every signee though.

Like I said previously, this felt A LOT like Tad's introductory presser. His coaching staff hires are going to tell me a lot.

Karl Dorrell introductory press conference (on now)

  10. Shldr2Shldr

Karl Dorrell introductory press conference (on now)

He mentioned the newest incoming class and looking to use that as a boost to continue that process. But no, did not say "recruiting" once in his opening remarks.
  11. Shldr2Shldr

Karl Dorrell introductory press conference (on now)

Dorrell doesn't have the... charisma that Mel Tucker has/had. That being said, he will be very very easy to root for. If he can win football games, this guy is going to be very popular in Boulder/Denver.

Karl Dorrell officially named Colorado HC

Lol you should take a look at UCLA in the late 90's. His win % at UCLA over 5 seasons was 55%. His predecessor was at a whopping 60% over 7.
  15. Shldr2Shldr

Karl Dorrell officially named Colorado HC

He didnt take over "2 successful units" he took over a mediocre shop and left it a mediocre shop, but he at least made sure to bring in a handful of fairly talented college grads. You want to see who ran a shop put of business? Look at what the next "manager" did...
  16. Shldr2Shldr

  17. Shldr2Shldr

Karl Dorrell officially named Colorado HC

If Sark or Calhoun, does this mean there is a major division within the AD/CU?

Calhoun ran the West Coast offense in his previous stops as OC. He isn't bringing the option to CU if he is the coach.
