Well, game experience is only part of the equation though. Oliver was a true sophomore on that team and flashed enough to generate NFL buzz as basically the #3 CB. Talent still matters.
Being young and showing lots of potential can be mutually exclusive.
I can read into the fact that the defense knows how to force turnovers. It will bite them at some point, but it is hardly a coincidence at this point. The defense has also slowed opponents for stretches of games as well. 0-3? Not even close. Your schtick is really bland and unimaginative...
Not the end of the world, but there does need to be a sense of urgency in this program. We fired a coach who went 5-7 in consecutive seasons dropping games like this one. The margin for error is pretty small.
If we "meet" those preseason expectations, that is a ****ty season.
