  1. RPI Watch: 2018 Season

Winning out will still require 1-2 wins in the conference tournament to get in. Winning 4 of 5 (19-11, RPI probably in the low 50s) puts CU in the bubble consideration, but requires at least a run to the conference tournament championship to feel good about our chances. Winning 3 of 5 does...
  2. GAME THREAD: Buffs @ Wildcats

Wow, I thought you died, Ace? What happened to pointguardu? Caught up with you and your ilk when folks found out you were paying Book Richardson for inside info? Fake your own death last February, then show up on a CU website? PATHETIC.
  3. GAME THREAD: Cougs @ Buffs

    Namon's a junior.
  4. GAME THREAD: Cougs @ Buffs

Agree completely with this. Tad needs to have at least one of the creators on the court at all times- King, McKinley and/or Namon.
  5. What is Tadball?

Well, they both rocked the short shorts with style.
  6. What is Tadball?

Yeah, he's just Ricardo Patton. Winning % at CU: Tad overall 60.9%, conference 51.2% Patton 53.5%, 43.8% Those look like effective numbers to me, and they are very different. I'm not sure why you chose Patton as a comparison to Tad. How do you define effective coaching?
  7. Wazzu Roll Call

    Same here. +3.
  8. Tad Boyle's comments on beating Sean Miller amid FBI investigation

“It’s ironic we’re playing Arizona. I’ve got great respect for Sean Miller and the type of coach he is. They recruit very, very well. USC has recruited very, very well. The two most talented teams in our league from top to bottom are USC and Arizona. So, hell yes there’s extra satisfaction...
  9. Tad Boyle's comments on beating Sean Miller amid FBI investigation

I'm guessing most average college basketball fans had never heard the name Tad Boyle until last Saturday.
  10. Tad Boyle's comments on beating Sean Miller amid FBI investigation

Folks around the country now know who Tad Boyle is, and that CU has a basketball program. They also know what Tad stands for. It's good publicity. The vitriol comes from Coach Hollywood, the few USC fans that exist and the entitled Zona fans. What's wrong with that? It just makes things...
  11. Tad Boyle's comments on beating Sean Miller amid FBI investigation

If anything, the lateness will help with student attendance. Us 35 year olds better show up, though.
  12. We now take you to USC, UA, Okie Lite, Auburn, Da U, KANSAS, & NC State

Big surprise. Frank Martin is one the biggest cheaters out there. How else was he able to get Bill Walker and Michael Beasley to come to Manhattan, KS back in the day?
  13. Tad Boyle's comments on beating Sean Miller amid FBI investigation

Disagree. The point Tad was making needs to be made over and over again. USC and Arizona cheat, and that's why those programs have been reasonably successful the past few seasons. Tad stoking rivalries with Pac-12 foes is a good thing. The student section better be full, loud and drunk come...
  14. GAME THREAD: Buffs @ Trojans

Maybe Metu will punch Tad in the sack?
  15. GAME THREAD: Buffs @ Trojans

Yes, the truth is very disappointing to Enfield. Hey gaptooth, how about you don't cheat and then see if you can win?
  16. Tad Boyle's comments on beating Sean Miller amid FBI investigation

Back to the topic at hand... Hell Yes- Tad is a great coach, the best in the history of CU basketball, and I'm sure glad he has the cajones to call it like it is. Tad made it very clear- he does things the right way and is rightfully proud of beating teams that don't.
  17. GAME THREAD: Sun Devils @ Buffs

If it isn't Bobby, I'm going with Cherokee Parks.
  18. GAME THREAD: Sun Devils @ Buffs

Unfortunately, tomorrow is a really bad matchup for CU. Arizona just went +23 on the boards against Utah last night (Ayton and Ristic combined for the number of rebounds Utah had as a team). That size will be a killer. Then, it's off to SoCal. I'm just hoping that CU remains competitive in...
  19. GAME THREAD: Sun Devils @ Buffs

Glad you brought up Bey. He was a defensive force last night. I was especially impressed on multiple possessions in the 2nd half and ot, when ASU screened at the top of the key, and Bey was forced to switch to Holder. Bey kept Holder in front of him every time but one, and recovered quickly...
  20. Colorado versus Iowa 12/22/2017 @ 7PM BTN

Highly doubt it, since it's deemed a 'neutral' site game. Although maybe Tad can talk McCaffery into playing at the 1st Bank Center for a 'neutral' game next season :)
