  1. Is it too early...

Hawkins is coming back. None of our recruits are wavering, Bohn didn't announce a decision after the game...the only chatter asking for his head comes from sites like this and netbuffs. If you were to ask the typical CU professor/student whether three million dollars for a new coach is worth it...
  2. Hawkins May Not Get Fired

I want to see Hawkins get one more year. All of our losses are potential wins had the players had a bit more experience. ie, Hawkins is playing with mostly upperclassmen.
  3. For some gOOD news ... Stanford - USC

Not good in terms of keeping Spond.
  4. '10 LA QB Benton "Munchie" Legaux (Signed to Cincinnati)

Re: '10 LA QB Benton "Munchie" Legaux (Committed to Colorado) I dont care how he does at CU. I will be getting a munchie jersey.
  5. Pack your bags Hawk!

Hawins....you effing tard. I can't believe I supported this tool.
  6. Hansen article

  7. We're not #1 anymore? WTF?

I think we have a good head coach. His record is comparable to Mangino and Pinkel following there first three years...Weve had two solid efforts against ranked teams...and he does have Bill McCartney's endorsement.
  8. Get Your Letters Written

Hmmm, has anyone ever thought that this could be sabotage. IE, this is some Cornhusker fan trying to stir the pot.
  9. Daily Camera WR article

Probably help with the running game too, if theres recievers physically capable of leveling people downfield.
  10. CU wins 24-0, the GOOD, BAD and the UGLY....

For all we know, Cody could still be injured or suffering from the concussion. He's still the QB that beat Oklahoma. If the O-line gets better, Cody will be adequate.
  11. CU wins 24-0, the GOOD, BAD and the UGLY....

Bad: CU couldn't convert a fourth against Wyoming.
  12. Bohn: we're not about to give up on Dan Hawkins

Placed in Bohn's shoe, I would have hired Hawkins too. I just don't know of any other coach who at the time the hiring took place, would be able to reverse this ship. And like the announcer mentioned, McCartney started his fourth season 0-4. I would contend that Hawk inherited a program in even...
  13. I will never rip Cody again

It seems like a majority of his interceptions came when the game was already over and the guy was desperate. When given time, and not playing catch up, Cody is a smart QB. A more talented Greg Paulus, but without any of WRs from Syracuse.
  14. Can the problems be fixed...?

I think having Simas on the field would do wonders. Espinoza and Jefferson are not b12 recievers. Scott McNight, shouldn't be the reciever we rely on.
  15. Support the Buffs!

In his defense, I do feel four years is not enough to turn around the train wreck that was the Barnett era. I mean, its rather unique situation Hawk ran into; cupboard empty (we had six o-line man two years ago), playing in a power conference, relatively little ties to Colorado hs for...
  16. Hawk Backers, where you at????

I'm not a huge Hawk supporter. But this was game of talented underclassmen (CU) verse experienced upperclassmen. (people that have had way more time in the weight room and with the playbook) The fact we had a walk on center playing against a couple of seniors might explain why the running game...
  17. Talked to an O-Line Man

It was Itis. Great person, with a great head on his shoulder. He's really gung ho about playing center. Also says he loves Denver the person.
  18. Talked to an O-Line Man

Talked to an O-line man at my place of employment. He mentioned that this was the first year since he's been here were the team is really buying into the program. He says that everyone on the team is really humble at this point. Also talked about Kasa and how that guy is a physical specimen. He...
  19. Josh Smith to UCLA

On the bright side, the fact that pretty ricky took both Maiva and Smith may be proof that Hawk can develop talent. These days, UCLA has a lot of prep stars coming their way.
