    Guess the Attendance: Stanford

Obviously, the game is sold out. Seems impossible that this will beat the USC number (54,032) but parents weekend was the most attended game each of the last two seasons, so who knows. The low crowd of the season so far was 53,141 for CSU.

    Guess the Attendance: USC

Not gonna lie, this exercise was actually more interesting when all the games weren't sold out. So far this year we have Nebraska at 53,241 and CSU at 53,141. Will this week be a new post-champions center record? Will the number end in 41 again?

Long-term plan for CU facilities upgrades

I've been critical of how expensive CU tickets have been for years. They're consistently some of the most expensive in the conference, even before this year's insanity. However, Nik was making an argument about revenue and I was looking at it through that lens. Personally I'd take a sellout 100...

2023 Rocky Mountain Showdown Preview Thread (9/16/23)

It doesn't feel like a rivalry week at all. Feels like we've got bigger fish to fry. Wild stuff.

Long-term plan for CU facilities upgrades

More suites? Absolutely. Chairbacks on the west side between the 20s? Absolutely. These will have a negligible impact on actual capacity but will result in more revenue. Also, you make more money by selling 50k tickets at a $100 per ticket average than 65k at $75. Scarcity creates demand.

Long-term plan for CU facilities upgrades

Idk man. A lot of you are acting like we sold out more than 3 games in the preceding 14 seasons. I don't think the current level of demand will be there by the time any stadium expansion/renovation is actually completed.

Long-term plan for CU facilities upgrades

I think the focus should be on improvements rather than expanding capacity in any significant way. Folsom has proven to be the perfect size for this market for decades. There's a limited footprint here and I think the west side should focus more on amenities/concessions than adding a huge number...

    Guess the Attendance: Colorado State

They're not used to this high a percentage of pass holders actually using the tickets. Plus there are plenty of people who aren't students who stand in the student section because it's a great view

    Guess the Attendance: Colorado State

Those are normally kept under lock and key. Only time I can remember them actually announcing was in 2021 for the first game after lockdown when they announced 11.6k students. It was probably between 12-13k yesterday.

Long-term plan for CU facilities upgrades

We did it in 2015 when I was there....

    Guess the Attendance: Colorado State

This game didn't seem particularly close to being sold out on the map before they announced it as a sellout this week. Where did those tickets go? Anyway, the number to beat from this week is 53,241. How many green and gold fans do you think we'll see?

Official Michigan State/Mel Tucker Hate Thread

Heard rumblings of shady stuff with him while he was here. He was a ticking time bomb. His untimely departure ultimately led us to where we are right now. Is today the greatest day in the history of karma?

    Guess the Attendance: Nebraska

I would say 5-7k Nebraska fans. Really not a significant number at all outside the designated visitor sections. It was glorious waving goodbye to them and singing "na na na na hey hey hey goodbye"

    Guess the Attendance: Nebraska

53,241. Indeed a record for the current stadium configuration. Hard to see them beating this number but we'll have to see what happens!

    Guess the Attendance: Nebraska

If 15k is the number, they'll count them all for every game even if they don't allow that many in. In 2021 they sold an extra 2k passes for a total of 14k, even though the jam-packed student section against Northern Colorado for the first game post-covid had 11,600 scans (which was announced as...

Uniform Prediction Thread - 2023 Game 2 - Nebraska (Home)

Would be a hell of a time to finally win one in all black.

    Guess the Attendance: Nebraska

The official capacity is 50,183 these days, but you can get way more students in the student section than there are "seats", so it depends on the number of student sports passes sold. Utah in 2016 was a sellout at 52,301 but ASU in 2018 was not totally sold out at 52,681. I would expect this...

you can't read the names at all. I'm just glad their numbers don't look exactly like our numbers anymore.
