  1. HCMM hangs up on radio show

This morning HCMM was on with Clay Travis of Fox Sports and was asked about if he had been contacted in regards to any head coaching jobs that are open. HCMM says he doesn't want to get into that, thanks him and then hangs up. Then apparently the SID sent an explictive email trashing the radio...
  2. Anthony Perkins is a Denver Bronco

Former DC Ron Collins is the linebackers coach at Ohio U, Perkins was a DB on Collins' defense at CU.
  3. Richardson, Gillam, CUD, Henderson

Henderson is also tied for first in the nation with 4 INT's....never thought I'd see the day where we have a top DB in that category. P-Rich is tied for 7th in the nation in receiving yards. I also have to keep in mind that we have played one (or two in some cases) less games than some of these...
  4. Parity in college football

Lets look at it this way. 5 years, a fairly decent measurement. 5 years ago (2008-09) the top 5 teams as of today (Alabama, Oregon, Clemson, Ohio State and Stanford) were ranked 6, 9, unranked, 11 and unranked, respectively. Stanford actually was 5-7 and Clemson was 7-6.
  5. Week 6 Other Games

After watching both teams play, I have no doubt Oregon can run rampant over Alabama. Oregon has so much firepower on offense (and the SEC defense has been a sieve this year).
  6. The good, the bad and the ugly

One other thing I noticed, Wood seems to rush himself out of the pocket. On multiple plays (particularly one in the red zone in the first quarter, I believe it was 3rd down on our first drive) he rolled out of the pocket and threw across his body and it was nearly picked off at the goal line...
  7. Where do we go from here on offense?

As for the offense, we have no one between the hashes. We don't really have a problem chucking it down the field to P-Rich, but we don't ever utilize the middle of the field. We have no tight end play, we can't productively run a simple slant to pick up 3-6 yards. Its almost like, as far as the...
  8. Sefo Liufau

In reference to the garbage time, I heard last night that of the 18 games Marcus Mariota has played (started) he has only finished four of them. FOUR! That is just absurd! The fact that they are so comfortably in the lead that he has only seen 0:00 on the field four times shows how far along...
  9. The good, the bad and the ugly

The Good: Obviously P-Rich on offense and Gillam on defense. I really liked the intensity and aggression in the first quarter, however.... The Bad: We have to get touchdowns instead of field goals. We were in the red zone 4 times (the 16 yard line, the 5 yard line, the 14 yard line, and the...
  10. No Injuries

Adam from Rivals sent out a tweet early last week about how the D-Line had slimmed down. Tuopo lost nearly 30 lbs if I remember correctly
  11. CU-Air Force....did anyone know this?

I have wondered why we never played the AFA in football and this article sheds some light. Although, not great light for CU, however, I didn't know about any of this. http://gazette.com/ramsey-if-gen.-clark-can-forgive-the-colorado-air-force-football-series-should-be-renewed/article/1502576
  12. 30 for 30 Tonight

CU got some attention by way of Larry Zimmer being shown. He worked the NC State/Utah semi game and they showed an interview of him holding the mic while someone was talking postgame
  13. ESPN covered the Embree press conference this morning.

I don't want this taken the wrong way, but black coaches don't get jobs because as an AD when/if you have to fire them, that seems to be the first card played. Although, not always by the coach, but the media sure looks at it that way. They (african-american) aren't getting coaching jobs because...
  14. Giving some credit where credit is due.

The crazy thing is we technically have two d-line coaches (Tui and Kanavis). McGhee had hardly any coaching experience yet he seems to be the one who is flourishing at this level. Tui was a proven coach and recruiter.
  15. Rep to the first person who can track me down some highlights

Pac-12 Network is airing a 1-hour shortened version of the game (I'm guessing it's similar to what ROOT Sports does with Rockies Doubleplay) at 5am MT tomorrow (Tuesday) morning for all those who are either up that early or have a DVR
  16. Oline on Saturday

Do we see the same starting 5 on Saturday? I heard so many good things about Dannewitz during the fall camp about being able to play any of the 5 spots, do we see him in there for Munyer?
  17. Gentleman's Prop Bets

    Guesses in bold
  18. Co Springs Bar

    Thought it was on FX?
  19. Co Springs Bar

I figured that one out really quick at the end of last year. there is a car wash in Monument that advertises as the Buff Car Wash with flags and stuff, tempted to go by and ask them
  20. Co Springs Bar

Looking for a bar in Colorado Springs that is Buff friendly. Can't make it up Saturday (read: refuse to go to RMS while at Invesco) and wanted to find a place here where I could watch the game without being the vast minority. Anyone know of a place?
