    The only negative of the trip: to short of stay. I'm also going to admit that I thought the big black slope on south end zone was grass/turf. I learned I was wrong.

    Biggest positive, and surprise in my mind was the relaxed atmosphere around the stadium. No huge parking lots of tailgaters right up to stadium entrance. We did not see a great deal of loud obnoxious drunkeness either. Obviously the scenery is so much better than most other stadiums...

    I know the conference history but I know Big 10 fans don't hate Purdue, Illinois or Indiana in football with the same kind of passion they hate OSU, Michigan or Nebraska. Wondered if there were specifics other than conference affiliation. I am over the half century mark and loved watching...

    Thanks to all of you, even the suggestion on a pit stop in Nebraska, I actually got that same request from a few Iowa fans in NW Iowa (Near Sioux City Slider).
