  1. Pre-Camp Predictions: Walk-ons earning scholarships

No mention of Dante Sparaco as a walk on who will earn a scholarship?? He was a 4* out of HS
  2. 2019 Football Scholarship Roster

Most impressive position on the entire team is LB. The depth and talent there top to bottom is elite This defense as a whole is gonna surprise a lot of people this year
  3. '19 MI RB Jaren Mangham (SIGNED to COLORADO)

This kid looks like the real deal, just based off his highlights and his size. Hopefully we can be a more run based offense-Like most of the rest of the Pac-12- and he can take some pressure of Montez next year
  4. Jim Leavitt - Frmr DC University of Oregon & Colorado

This is the absolute best hire the buffs could make, for all of the reasons stated. Not to mention he is a great recruiter. Hopefully Leavitt is the guy Rick goes after
  5. Predict the opening day starters

Is Moretti likely to start at RT?
  6. What is the identity of CU football?

This is a painful question for a person who has been a CU fan since the Mid-80's. CU football's identity(back when they won) was a hard nosed, running football team who routinely had great Lineman on both sides of the ball, as well as LBs and RBs. We've went totally away from that identity in...
  7. 2018 Buff offense

Couldn't agree more. This program has had pretty good speed for a few seasons now, but the athletes they have brought on in the last couple yrs are elite. Klayton Adams, its on you to turn those young lineman into players, and If you do, we can be one of the Pac-12's best offenses this year, and...
  8. 2018 Buff offense

I know the numbers that Bobo, Fields and Ross had accumulated were gaudy, but Juwann Winfree was the best Receiver on the roster last yr, not even close. And Shenault made a big play darn near every time he touched the pigskin. Their loyalty to the veterans probably cost them a bowl appearance...
  9. 2018 Recruiting Recap and notes (with a rant)

Pritchard is from Vegas. CSU has gotten a couple good athletes over the yrs from Vegas also. There could be a way to make some inroads out that way.
  10. 2018 Recruiting Recap and notes (with a rant)

Im not sure that its a requirement to have a poly coach to recruit poly players, but it wouldn't hurt. I feel like we could get a lot of talent from that community if we emphasized it in recruiting.
  11. 2018 Recruiting Recap and notes (with a rant)

I think our Michigan ties were from coach McCartney, having been an assistant coach at UM
  12. 2018 Recruiting Recap and notes (with a rant)

There are big time athletes in the Chicago area. May not be highly rated football players, but you get raw athletic talent from inner cities, give them top notch S&C work, great coaching, and you have a player in 3 or 4 yrs
  13. The academic side of scholarship offers - CU 2nd most rigorous in Pac-12

It holds them back more then we think. You wanna offer guys and bring them to campus early, especially when you have a lower profile relative to other schools you are recruiting against. Stanford recruits the whole country and gets the very best students/athletes. CU doesn't have the academic...
  14. 2018 Recruiting Recap and notes (with a rant)

We have gotten players from the midwest in the past(Quinn Sypnewski comes to mind). That should be an area where CU makes more of a footprint recruiting
  15. 2018 Recruiting Recap and notes (with a rant)

There is too much talent in Vegas at a school like Bishop Gorman, not to recruit it. If we get one guy, and he is successful you will see more players out of there
  16. 2018 Recruiting Recap and notes (with a rant)

Totally agree! It makes no sense that CU doesn't have a guy on the staff to recruit polynesian players, considering the amount of football talent in that community, in a neighboring state.
