  1. Linda Lappe has resigned as WBB Head Coach

If Rick George fails to capitalize on this opportunity to start a home-and-home football series with CSU in exchange for a women's basketball coach – and if he also bypasses the chance to spend like CU is Ohio State – then at least @ryunwilliamzfan is still available on Twitter. Or at least it...
  2. '15 WBB OK F Makenzie Ellis (Signed to Colorado)

Just realized that Ellis tore her ACL in November. Stupid ACLs. Hopefully her recovery is going well. http://www.tulsaworld.com/sportsextra/highschools/basketballgirlshs/hornet-standout-makenzie-ellis-tears-acl-out-for-season/article_ea017d42-4b92-5e33-a004-37c0c7bd9504.html?mode=jqm
  3. '15 WBB KY PG Alexis Robinson (Signed to Colorado)

Some coverage from her area. The Ashland Independent (multi-page) Ashland's coach says that Robinson is the hardest worker he's coached in 35 years, and that she's added 15-20 pounds of muscle. As for her role at CU: The Huntington Herald-Dispatch About visiting CU: And about this season...
  4. '15 WBB TX PG Kennedy Leonard (Signed to Colorado)

The 2015 class is now ranked #23, in Prospects Nation's updated rankings.
  5. '15 WBB OK F Makenzie Ellis (Signed to Colorado)

Agreed, and I think it's great if Ellis is working on her skills at the wing. But there will likely only be one player taller than her on the roster when she arrives, and somebody needs to be a post after Jen, Jamee and Arielle are gone. I had assumed Ellis would be more of a 4 with a motor...
  6. '15 WBB OK F Makenzie Ellis (Signed to Colorado)

Ellis's hometown paper in Tulsa has finally taken note of her commitment to CU. Interesting, given that she's 6'2":
  7. '15 WBB KY PG Alexis Robinson (Signed to Colorado)

And HoopGurlz has her at #91. http://espn.go.com/high-school/girls-basketball/recruiting/rankings/_/class/2015
  8. '15 WBB OK F Makenzie Ellis (Signed to Colorado)

I'm more confused than ever about the services ranking WBB recruits, but the current incarnation of HoopGurlz added Ellis to their Elite 100 at #98. They're unaware that she changed her commitment, but hey.
  9. '15 WBB TX PG Kennedy Leonard (Signed to Colorado)

ProspectsNation bumped Leonard up a couple more spots to #40 nationally. They also added Burich and Robinson to their expanded Elite 150 list, at 116 and 117. http://www.prospectsnation.com/players/ranked/2015
  10. '15 WBB MN SF Monica Burich (Signed to Colorado)

ProspectsNation has Burich at #116 on their expanded Elite 150 list. http://www.prospectsnation.com/players/ranked/2015
  11. '15 WBB KY PG Alexis Robinson (Signed to Colorado)

ProspectsNation has Robinson at #117 on their expanded Elite 150 list. http://www.prospectsnation.com/players/ranked/2015
  12. '15 WBB KY PG Alexis Robinson (Signed to Colorado)

Here's a video from last year. Outdated and short, but it still gives you a little bit of a sense for her game. http://youtu.be/4VMg00GOycs
  13. '15 WBB TX PG Kennedy Leonard (Signed to Colorado)

ProspectsNation updated their 2015 rankings today to a full 100, and they list Leonard at #42.
  14. '15 WBB TX PG Kennedy Leonard (Signed to Colorado)

Update on Leonard at the Cy-Fair camp, from Prospects Nation.
  15. '15 WBB KY PG Alexis Robinson (Signed to Colorado)

And All-Star Girls Report has her #45.
  16. '15 WBB KY PG Alexis Robinson (Signed to Colorado)

Here's an article from Kentucky about Robinson's commitment. And other schools she considered. Also, her high school team is called the Kittens. So there's that.
  17. 2014 WBB Recruit Profile Index

As MObuff posted in a separate thread, it looks like CU got a verbal from Zoe Correal (CA-14) this weekend. She is a 6'4" post, which obviously fills a need after Hargis graduates. MarkW mentioned Charise Holloway, but it sounds like she committed to Arizona. It also sounds like Kennedy...
  18. 2014 WBB Recruit Profile Index

Nevermind, Bell committed to Vanderbilt. Her visit to CU on the weekend of that Kansas debacle couldn't have helped us much.
  19. '14 TX PG Brecca Thomas (Verbal to Colorado)

Exactly. Plus, Brian Howell wrote that Desiree Harris '13 is a combo guard who will likely be a PG at CU. And B-Wil is an option at point for her senior year. This is awesome. Thomas is a really good player. Congrats!
  20. Spikers Celebrate 2012 Season At Year-End Banquet

Congratulations to Michelle Miller and the rest of the student-athletes. Those are some serious students. The fact that the team will have nearly their entire group back next year, including the return of Kerra Schroeder, is promising. Can't wait to see what they can do!
