    I still believe that eventually it will come out that Tress told Smith or the compliance/general counsel departments about the email tip. This is far from over.

    I think fourth. New staff, new offense and the worst schedule in college football. There will be some bad beats but if coaches can pound their philosophy into the team and set their confidence, third of even second is possible. As has been said before, CU will surprise.

    Cinch it up. I know detest is a verb but for Hawk it should be a noun. Gunga galunga rodent. I won't be watching.

    Pass defense is not all on the secondary. The lack of pressure on the QB and poor LB play underneath are also factors. Did we ever defend a tight end route across or up the middle? And if Jimmy and Jalil were so badly coached, how did they ever get drafted? How many games worth of injuries...

    Ashley Ambrose did a great job coaching the DBs. He was respected and had NFL playing experience which helped in recruiting. I would have hoped he would be retained and a real DC put in place. I think this will be a sore spot this year on D schemes and likely recruiting in the defensive...

  11. Embree just on CJ and Klatt

    I remember the Nebraska safeties in the second half of 62 36. They were hiding. 2 yards and pain in the first half translates to huge gains later. And it isn't just Embree, EB epitomizes a hard running philosophy. Its a challenge to the OL and they will step up.

    A gold stadium during day games is awesome. Reserve blackouts for special night games. The USC game is perfect timing. Cool if you could organize a black student section at any game.

    I guess one should ask, how many DBs are signed yet? Nada. The book is still out. From what I saw at spring practices, Brown isn't that impressive. I find it hard to get behind a coach/recruiter who never played outside of Midget league football.
