  1. Congratulations from a CSU fan

    Frankly, it DOES help, thanks!
  2. Congratulations from a CSU fan

Thank you very much; I hope so, too!
  3. Congratulations from a CSU fan

Way to go, Buffs! Terrific, confident, relentless game against a super opponent. This could be the win that kicks off the Dan Hawkins era that so many of us expected. Congratulations and I hope you continue to have a great season. ChicagoRamFn
  4. I'm hearing some way lame bitching about Cody

Hey, when that happens, please send Cody up to Ft. Collins. We'd love to have him. He's a winner.
  5. Congratulations

I'm digging into the arcane Hollywood trivia here. The movie was called, "Sullivan's Travel's." Your team just kept fighting today. I admire that. Make sure you ROCK Nebraska!
  6. Cody was OK, but...

He played a great game. Imagine the pressure; first game, in-state rival, Invesco field. Man, you should be happy. You've got a great QB and if he lives up to his first start, your offensive leadership is sound for the next four years!
  7. An other RMS goes down to the wire

It was a great game. It didn't feel like a statement on Lubick to me. Congratulations to CU.
  8. I'm Reading Many Ram Fan Crying About The Late Pass Intereference Call

Good luck to the Buffs the rest of the way. I like it when Colorado has good college teams. I wish we would have won today but it was a great game.
  9. I'm Reading Many Ram Fan Crying About The Late Pass Intereference Call

Good luck to your coach. Good luck to your team. Good luck to your fans.
  10. Congratulations

Okay, Manhattan Beach Buff. You and I didn't start out on the greatest terms. But, your team won. Congratulations. Just for fun, do you know what classic film from the '40's was about a movie-in-a-movie called, "Oh, Brother, Where Are Thou?" This was the source for the Coen brothers' title...
  11. Congratulations

Your team won a hard-fought battle. Cody Hawkins is the real deal. I hope you go on to have a great season. It was fun chatting with you all.
  12. I bet this will throw lamenation into fits

I have to agree with you regarding the coaches. Granted, it's difficult to fire an O-coordinator whose wife just died of cancer. Sonny hasn't really ever fired anyone, though, as far as I can tell. Dave Lay back as "co-offensive coordinator" (I hate those kinds of shared roles) should help us...
  13. Most of us believe...

I agree with you. Ever since Sonny Lubick arrived at CSU, this game has rarely been an easy pick. I know a lot of people here don't like him, but he has generated some amazing results if you are an old-timer like me who remembers the days when we went 0-12 and a game against CU was a certain...
  14. Greatest Email Ever

Wow. Quite an analysis. Very impressive except that if you read the thread of posts, you'll see I was clearly referring to "Northwestern University," not the University of Nebraska. LOL.
  15. Greatest Email Ever

Umm...of all the times I have told that joke, this is the very first time I've actually had to spell it out to someone that it's obviously not meant seriously.
  16. First starts vs csu

I think he is going to be good, too. I just hope it doesn't start in a big way until your second game! If he's anything like his dad (and he probably is; his prep record is truly impressive), then he's going to be a winner. Maybe starting off with a loss will be good for him. Okay, maybe...
  17. Good Article on Herrod

It's quite a story. I think most college teams have some individuals for whom winning a scholarship can be the difference between escaping poverty or being stuck in it. It's great to see someone with this kind of character earn an opportunity when the odds were stacked against him. Best of...
  18. Greatest Email Ever

Well played. I have heard some Buff fans say that if CU gets any better it will be known as the "Harvard of the West." I can only say in reply that if Harvard gets any better, it will be known as the "CSU of the East." :wink2:
  19. First starts vs csu

That's a frightening record for a Ram fan. Jackson's start looks more like an aberration than a trend, particularly since he couldn't throw. I still think if Hawk had stuck to the option game, you would have own. Here's hoping we have a great game on Saturday but CSU wins. Thanks for...
  20. Greatest Email Ever

I didn't attend CU, no. Having looked at many college rankings, NU is near the top in many categories and usually much higher than either CU or CSU. NU is not an Ivy League school, btw (not sure if you were implying that; clarifying just in case). I will have to skip adding the CU degree as I...
