  1. '17 CO RB Marcus McElroy (Verbal to CSU)

With Kyle Evans being placed on scholarship, I don't see us taking McElroy. Which is too bad. Unless K-State takes him, his offers are mediocre. And this is where slow playing CU was not smart. The Buffs showed their interest in him early. I don't really believe he ever wanted to come to CU. Van...

Thanks. That helps. It is much appreciated.

Why isn't Maurice Bell on our commit list?
  4. '17 CA WR Maurice Bell (Signed to COLORADO)

I think "Ice" Bell would be a cool nick name. Black Ice Bell with moves that cause the DB's to slip and slide. I hope he chooses the Buffs tomorrow. What a WR class we would have with this pick up. GO BUFFS!
  5. '16 TRNFR C Dominik Olejniczak (Verbal to Ole Miss)

Maybe with what is going on currently with the athletic program, might he rethink his commitment to Ole Miss and reconsider CU. I'm not sure Ole Miss is the place to be headed to right now.
  6. '17 TX WR Tyrell Shavers (Verbal to Alabama)

If you want to get his interest, have the Volleyball team start recruiting his girlfriend. He would probably take note of CU then.
  7. Lappe has 3 years left on her contract what is Rick George going to do?

This. There is no one on this roster to replace Swan leaving. Lappe has been here 6 years and has recruited soft post players. Until recruiting these 4 freshmen, she had not stepped up to the plate. The time for RG to do something is now. There isn't an immediate difference maker in the post...

  9. dc Daily Camera: CU football: Jordan Carrell eager to lead way in final season

The ideal starting line up front is Tupou, Carroll, and Kafovalu. But the key is getting Tupou back. With the depth we would have we could be very strong up front.
  10. Post Arizona @ CU Game thread (Relevant)

This is why I dislike U of A fans. They believe they are entitled. This has to be one of the dumbest posters ever. The idea that the PAC 12 refs would decide to throw a game in CU's favor before tip off -IN FRONT OF A NATIONALLY TELEVISED AUDIENCE - is the stupidest thing I have heard ever. To...
  11. Arizona at CU Game Day Thread (#BlackOutZona)

Great win. I really dislike the wildcats. Thank goodness we held on for the win. We need to use this momentum and finish strong.
  12. Colorado at UCLA Game Thread

This is who we are. We are a soft team. Our one star (Josh Scott) was product of winning the Pac 12 Tourney in 2011. That class also brought in Stalzer, Johnson, Talton, and Gordon. Tad has hit his ceiling in recruiting. WE are soft and lack ball handling talent on our team. Even in winning 20...
  13. Colorado at USC post game thread

Great year winning the PAC12 Tourney. Did you know that we played a whole schedule that didn't include one single top 25 team in the nation. PAC was down that year. In fact we didn't play a top 25 team until the Big Dance in which we went 1-1. I know people think I don't know what I'm talking...
  14. Colorado at USC post game thread

We have tapped out with Tad. He is the best thing we have ever had for MBB. But he has hit his ceiling both in coaching and recruiting. The funny thing is, most coaches before the advent of the 3 point line knew exactly how to beat a 2-3 zone. But not Tad. We were flat footed for the last 8...
  15. State of the Buffs Offense - MBB

Our season turned because our team stop playing soft. I have never seen Josh Scott dunk as much as he has this year. He is playing stronger in the paint. And my hat off to the DBC story that praised Yaz's surprise contribution several weeks ago. Since then, Collier got serious and started...
  16. Official Oregon State at Colorado Thread

Very good win. We did not play soft in the paint. Maybe that had something to do with OSU having freshmen in the post. Either way, I hope Scott and Gordon play aggressive and tough from here on out. They are scary good when they do. Akyazili is just a hard nose competitor. The pass to King...
  17. 2016: Recruiting News, Notes & Official Visitors

I believe we tried to get Rising, but he wanted the sun debils. I sure they promised him a car or something. He chose to go somewhere else. Graham probably pitched that they are a better program than we are. Did Rising have any ties to Colorado? And how do you say no to the girls at ASU?
  18. 2016: Recruiting News, Notes & Official Visitors

I have no problem questioning any position coach's ability to recruit. If Coach Mac inherited the worst P5 team in the country, then expecting to unload bloated fat and recruit to a program that sucks is wishful thinking. This is the first time in a long time we actually have depth in most...
  19. 2016: Recruiting News, Notes & Official Visitors

You mean guys like Wiefels? No thanks. We already have 6 junior OL. You want to add more to that? We are going to have to live with the OL players we have. I haven't seen 5 star juco OL lining up to get into CU. Have you? We don't need more Weifels. Sure they fill in gaps and holes in the depth...
  20. Who Steps Forward in 2016

The two biggest players we need to have show up in June are Josh Toupou, and Davis Webb. That would immediately help both offense and defense for 2016.
