    I'll just remind you all that we won a national championship with a coach I would describe as "great recruiter, questionable game day coach". College football is 90% recruiting. I'll take great recruiter/mediocre game day over the opposite 10 times out of 10.

    Frustrating to lose, but even worse when you don't give your best effort. If they play FSU 10 times, I think they win 5. But they have to play well to win, and tonight they played like garbage. Tight and hesitant. Lazy passes. No ball security. Poor decisions. Guess they let the G-Town win go...

    The D gave up 540 yards and did not force a 3-and-out all game. So you're going to rely on the D to do something in crunch time that they hadn't done all game? I thought it was a head-scratcher.

    Will be interesting to see what happens if just one of Clemson/Alabama loses. Who gets in next? Does Stanford leapfrog Ohio State? I actually think they do as long as they win.....though it might come down to "style points".

    Maybe I'm mis-remembering, but I thought part of the deal when we hired MM was that *we* wanted him to bring his entire staff from SJSU. People were still lamenting the fact that the Boise staff got fractured when we hired Hawkins.

    What happened?

    I don't "hate" Ski.......I just wish that half of our offensive possessions weren't just Ski dribbling around trying to create his own shot, while 4 guys stand around. And that's totally on the coaches. I'm guessing others feel the same way, and that's where the frustration comes from.
