  1. Looking For Looking for TWO tickets for Saturday

Long-time Buff fan, hoping to take my son (12). I didn’t think I was going to go, but I wiggled out of a work commitment.
  2. Alamo Bowl Travel, Accommodation, Ticket, Food etc. Thread

Is there any reason to wait for the A.D. to start selling tickets? Would that be smarter/cheaper than just copping them off of stubhub right now?
  3. CU - DU Secret Scrimmage

Hey, the day I figure Herb out will be the day I quit hoops. He's a weird guy.
  4. CU - DU Secret Scrimmage

That is true, and to some degree Drexel and ASU I suppose. From that standpoint its nice for Tad to get a team like this now.
  5. CU - DU Secret Scrimmage

My guess would be that it was a "game" if they kept score. I don't think anyone would agree to scrimmage Joe Scott if he was allowed to stop it every 2 minutes, because I'm sure he would stop it every 2 minutes.
  6. CU - DU Secret Scrimmage

The Buffs (reportedly) beat the Pioneers by 7 in their secret scrimmage. I got that information from my friend Justin Coughlin, who played for the Pioneers from '08-'12 (which is kind of a source, imo). The only other information he had was that it went "really well" (that would be a DU...
  7. Mayor makes NBA debut in Denver tonight

Here's a nice clip of some Alec Burks highlights. He is really good at basketball http://www.nba.com/video/games/jazz/2014/02/12/0021300787-phi-uta-play3.nba/
  8. Pachoops Previews The Buffs

Backstreet Boys below LFO? Get outta here, AB.
  9. Wow, KenPom way less enthusiastic

I think a lot of the changes to the offense have to do with Jelly. They will try to get him the ball more in face up situations and in the high post. He is a great back-to-the-basket guy, obviously, but he will be harder to double team if he is catching the ball at different places on the floor...
  10. Scrimmage Notes 10/25

Yes, it was a full motion offense. A lot of pass and screen away rather than ball screen, a lot of cutting, pin downs for Jelly, XJ, Wes, and DT to catch on the perimeter and face up. Both Pri and Rohn emphasized keeping the ball moving and cutting harder. They also made an effort to get into...
  11. Tad's year-end press conference

Do you think Collier or Perkins is the type of shooter that Tad is talking about? I know they are both very talented, but I'm not sure either of them would be considered a "knock-down shooter", right?
  12. CSU's Superbowl/NBA Finals Championship

BetUS has the Buffs at -5.
  13. Jelly!

I thought I heard the Frenchies call him "The Chocolate Jellyfish", and that was the origin. Whatever, as long as Jelly keeps improving like he has!
  14. CSU vs. DU Observations

DU is weird though. We'll know more about the Rams after they play Washington on Saturday.
  15. Colorado RPI Watch

Buffs are about to get a nice RPI bumb w/ the chance to play Baylor in SC! Really, you don't even need to win, just playing a team like that helps.
  16. 2012 Colorado Basketball: Dayton vs Colorado Game Thread

Great win! Couldn't be more excited to play Baylor, but I really hope Austin doesn't play (he's good).
  17. Charleston Tourney: Dayton v. Colorado

Defensively, I wouldn't be surprised to see Booker and Dinwiddie cross-match. Askia will probably be asked to "heat up" the ball, and Spencer has been outstanding when guarding anyone's 2.
  18. Any word on the scrimmage w/ UNC?

This is from Thorburn's (@RyanThorburn) twitter: A little birdie told me the #CUBuffs basketball team looked good during a closed-door scrimmage vs. Northern Colorado this morning at Coors.
  19. CU picked sixth in media poll

I feel like Stanford should be slotted firmly in the top 3. They have as much momentum as anyone to start the year, and I am a fan of that backcourt. They are #3. After that, I really think Colorado is a notch above SC, Cal, Oregon and Washington. Those four are the toss-up in my mind. Good...
  20. The 2012-13 AllBuffs Men's Basketball Preview: The Important Non-Conference Games

There is no reason to think the Buffs lose to CSU, IMO. Here's why: 1) Tim Miles is not walking through that door. Even if Eustachy is better than Miles (I don't think he is, but I don't really know), that team was and is built for Tim Miles. I do not believe that Eikmeier or Green will be...
