Other programs evaluating Williams are Baylor, Boise State & Nevada (10/9 visit).

Williams was recruited by UCLA, Stanford and Washington State out of high school and then spent the 2008 season at UCLA as a walk on. If he didn't see the field at UCLA, he may actually have 3 to play 3.

Edit: FWIW, ESPN's game log for Max while he was at UCLA shows nothing. http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/player/gamelog?playerId=381808

It depends on the courses he took at the JUCO. If he loaded up on Phys Ed classes, then none of those will transfer.

I'd assume that he's a decent student. He had to get into UCLA as a preferred walk-on.

My understanding is that if he has an accredited associates degree, depending in the field of study, that individual classes were no longer under scrutiny. When I transferred into CU they explained it to me this way.

I don't even understand how these guys are filling up on PE classes, they count for like 1 unit or even .5 units at my school. No way could I ever think of accumulating 60 of them in 2 years at that rate.
