The Colts will be deep on defense, and Kyle Aberton promises to be one of the very best defensive backs in the state.

Gridiron Studs evaluation:
http://www.gridironstuds.com/blog/tag/kyle-abberton/
Cornerback Kyle Aberton is a gritty hard nose cornerback that will come up and smack you or just flat out take the ball away. He’s a menace to the offence and a pain in the rear for wide receivers. Watch Kyle mix it up with the opposition and make plays all over the field for Cottonwood high school.

After losing a single game (the state championship) in 2008, Aberton was quoted.
"Last year wasn't good enough," senior defensive back Kyle Aberton said. "We have to build."

2009: Lost in quarterfinals of Utah state championship after moving from 4A to 5A.

Also runs track.

Runner Profile

Preseason Profile (football 2009)
The Veteran:
[Coach] Thomas expects big things from defensive back Kyle Aberton, back for his fourth year. Last season, he led class 4A and 5A in interceptions and was named to the first-team all-region.
He also picked up some speed in the offseason, dropping .30 seconds off his 40-yard dash.
"As a whole, but especially on the defensive side of the ball, our team has really picked up speed," said Aberton. "Everyone who was fast last year is a whole lot faster now."
