Putting this profile up because a national Rivals writer indicated today that Heyward was favoring USC and Arizona at this time. Have just hired Tui, thinking he may take a look out East.

Big-time DT prospect and has offers from the entire Pac-12 except CU. Hope that changes.

Kadeem Carey and Jared Baker seem to be their chief concerns as far as kids they could lose.

According to a report by the SDSU Rivals site on Jan 25, Heyward is down to three favorites.

His high school coach stated the decision is down to to USC, Oregon and San Diego State. "He wants to see if San Diego State is the right fit for him. If he feels it is, he will be happy to join a great program and contribute."

Hastings said Heyward will announce his commitment on Feb. 2 at a press conference. ESPN will use the feed from KUSI-TV to broadcast on its national signing day show.

So far, he has visited USC, Oregon and UCLA. He plans to visit SDSU this weekend.
