Prior to last fall, Trey Metoyer never would've guessed his name would soon appear on recruiting Web sites.

But more than 70 receptions and several accolades later, the Whitehouse receiver is beginning to gain attention from college football's finest programs.

Metoyer, a junior, has already been offered scholarships by Oklahoma, Oklahoma State and Texas A&M. The list of schools interested also includes Texas, Nebraska, UCLA, Stanford, Colorado and Notre Dame.

"I wasn't expecting this; I didn't think I would get this much publicity," said Metoyer, last season's All-East Texas Newcomer of the Year in football and basketball. "I thought I would just go out there and play football."

Likes the Oklahoma schools early. Hope we can make an impression with a strong year.
