The Rivals Top 150 prospect reportedly favors the Buffs.

Here's a bit of what ESPN had to say about him (linked in profile):

Strengths:
Morris-Walker is a prototypical glue-type for the next level. He's an explosive athlete that attacks the basket with a vengeance-usually ending with a rim-rattling dunk. He handles the ball effectively out on the perimeter and his midrange pull-up is quite good. Defensively, he can guard multiple positions due to his strength, length, and mental toughness and he is a tough rebounder is space.

JoshGershon Josh Gershon
2012 Berkeley guard Langston Walker favors Colorado. He will visit Cal on June 11.

Gershon is the main basketball recruiting guy for Scout in the west.

I'd take him over any of the other prospects we're after for the '12 class

From the descriptions on this thread (far and away the most credible source anywhere of course) he sounds like a perfect fit for what Tad has shown he likes to do. A kid who can play both ends of the floor and make the transition smoothly. Offensively a guy with a variety of skills who can fill multiple roles.

I like what Tad is doing with his recruiting. I would still like to see us get a guy who is a big, stong presence in the middle but those guys are few and far between and even rarer when you ask them to also fit into what Tad wants to do as a team.

did we back off

Maybe. Scout recently updated his profile page and they're listing CU interest but no offer.

OT: Brandon Ashley a teamate of Morris-Walker and one of the top '12 prospects in the country just committed to Arizona. They're putting together a monster class.

I liked Morris-Walker. Good pickup for OSU. options are shrinking.
