Former NFL OT Bob Whitfield (Stanford) is his dad. Kodi seems pretty high on the Buffs and the NFL connections have got to be helping here. Judging by his offer list, he's a heck of a student. Most sites have him as a WR, but I listed him as an ATH because we're looking at him as a Safety (info from Adam on Rivals).

This would be a very nice get for the program. Great player who is also a great student.
 
So how much longer before Stanford offers. Kid's a nice prospect, apparently a good student, and has a connection through his father, seems like a no-brainer.
