Scout has a story running about how he would love to stay in state and even more play for CU. No offers and idk if his skill set fits exactly what we want at QB but maybe a prospect at another position given how fast he seems to be.

haha gotcha. I think with his speed he could maybe work out at WR or put on some weight and be a TE. I dont know how his catching abilities are though.

strange. I searched for his thread before I posted and it didn't pop up. thanks for the move

For future reference, there is a CO Prep Recruiting thread pinned in this forum that has him listed with a link to the profile. http://www.allbuffs.com/showthread.php/57963-2012-CO-Prep-Recruiting

Also, for out-of-state prospects and in-state guys known to be getting strong recruiting interest from CU, there is the pinned Recruit Profile Index. http://www.allbuffs.com/showthread.php/57964-2012-Recruit-Profile-Index

Here's some of the Scout article plus a link:

Alvin Rubalcaba played cornerback for the Buffs from 1982-84, and Sean always has kept a close eye on the black, silver and gold growing up on the Western Slope.

Rubalcaba said he has received recruiting letters from Colorado, Colorado State, Boise State, UCLA and Wyoming and his hometown school Mesa State.

The way I'm going, I might hit the 10 post mark by 2025. Thanks Nik - love the site.

You guys had a heck of a baseball coach at GJHS, Junction (sorry, don't mean to have a personal conversation in a recruit thread...)

Grand Junction is 2-0 and looks like a threat to win 5A in Colorado this year. Sean's passing has been effective (10/19 for 139 yards with 2 TDs and 2 INTs). His running is what has really been impressive with 26 carries for 418 yards and 3 TDs.

I think he could come to CU as a walk on WR and have a shot at earning a scholarship. If he wants to play quarterback on scholarship, then I hope he chooses UNC. He'd be a great pickup for them.

Heard a radio interview with him a month or so ago, and he mentioned he has been talking to CU and CSU, as well as schools like Wyo and North Dakota (Pretty sure that's right - it has been a month...). But it sounded like UNC may be the school he's been talking to the most.

He's an incredible athlete, but UNC might be his best shot at QBing at the next level...
