He gets A's in trigonometry and honors chemistry. He's 6 feet, 198 pounds, benches 285 pounds and runs 40 yards in 4.5 seconds. He raced 97 yards for a touchdown last month against Washington Prep. He has rushed for 519 yards and averaged 8.8 tackles a game in helping lead Jefferson to a 5-0 record. And, since he was 7, Stamps says, he has had no contact with his mother or father. Stamps developed a passion for football while relying on his aunt, Valerie Robinson, for guidance and support.

BTW, rep to vamos.

Interesting prospect. 1100+ yards and 12 TDs on offense, but he also had 78 tackles and 7 sacks on defense. I assume from Huffman's tweet that we offered him as a RB, but maybe we offered him as an athlete.

Also have to like he went 6'4" in the high jump as a sophomore.

Though the Buffs are obviously showing the most serious attention thus far, plenty of other schools are after Stamps. "UCLA is talking to me a lot. I am also hearing from Washington quite a bit."

He told us his early his favorites' list. "Right now I'd say I like, in no order, Stanford, Colorado, UCLA, Oregon, Oregon State, and USC. I don't have a top school."
also a bit of a basketball star. We are looking at him at RB on O and outside LB on D.

that is one crazy offense. Is that the whishbone or something? Yet another awesome offer and a good lookin kid. I would be very happy with whatever RB we land this year, they are all very good.

Easy to root for this guy. No parents in the picture, but he's excelling in the classroom and in athletics.

This. Even if he doesn't end up at CU, this is a kid you'll be cheering for.

Straight up runner, with stiffish-hips. But he has good acceleration, and fights his ass off for extra yardage. Tough kid. I would like to see some additional tape of him on defense.

Disappointed the staff didn't pursue this kid more. I thought he could've added some raw speed to the LB corps.

Under the impression that Stamps and Ulugbode were both here at same time, and Ulugbode came away with the commitable offer.
