Couldn't. Wanted to. Tried to. Clearance issue with academics.

If that's the case, it makes Slider's point. We can't get JCs in, and when we can, they have to go to Herculean efforts to make up ground before they can get on the field.

Maybe we should be selective with Jucos perhaps. I mean why waste time if they aren't gonna get in? That is unless there is a change in admissions. A few might go that extra mile, most won't.

Another issue: To be NCAA eligible, each transfer must show that they are on track to graduate at time of transfer.

If the College of Engineering (for example) isn't sure they will accept all of the JuCo's work, then there is some question marks, that take time to resolve.....

Pretty tough for a kid to cleanly and seamlessly transfer into CU and be sure his credit hours will all be intact.

Last 2 productive JC transfers at CU were Mohler (2008) and Abe Wright (2004). We've brought in +/- 12 JC transfers in the last decade, and only a small % have been worth the effort to bring them in. It hasn't proven to be an effective channel for us. Not saying it can't be, but the production/results haven't justified the efforts taken to get them. Would rather focus recruiting efforts in more effective areas.
