BuffPlayBook.com will be breaking down the current commitments and visiting with someone that knows each recruit probably better than most. This new series, Getting to know your Future Buffs through their coaches eyes will be a yearly feature, allowing the Buff Fan Base a little inside look at the current commitments. We start out this series with Scout.com's 3 star linebacker Rick Gamboa.

More great Rivals content in an article today on Gamboa.

His HS Coach [Ed Croson] said he's currently measuring in at 6'0" 240 and offered some great insight on the difference between what a high school linebacker is asked to do versus a college linebacker. Here's a bit of it that lets us in on the conditioning plan:

"I think his better weight is between 215-and-220 but high school is a different game than college so he'll lose some weight, get in a little bit different type of shape and not be so much of a plugger and more of a guy that can play every down."

(My thought is that a similar conditioning strategy is likely in the works for Brady Daigh's senior year.)

102 solo tackles, that's crazy. Chaminade had a hell of a team in 2013.
