Hat tip to Adam for bringing Foster to our attention.

Highlands Ranch (Colo.) Valor Christian sophomore Chase Foster is also drawing early interest from the Buffaloes. The 6-foot-4.5, 170-pound wing is averaging 18.1 points, 4.6 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.3 steals per game this season.

"I get around the court really well and my team does a good job of finding me on the fastbreak," said Foster, who is left-handed. "I am a pretty good scorer. I can shoot, drive, I like doing it all. My dad has always had me in the gym from day one and I have always been progressing as a player."

Sounds like 2014 will be a damn good class for both men (Collier, Perkins & Foster) as well as the women (Reese, Morgan and Akigbogun).

Foster had 20 points last night in the loss to Lewis-Palmer. Apparently the kid is pretty clutch and has a lot of people high on him. He could start to get some offers from big time schools this summer.

I'm honestly nearing the point where I'd be happy with all three of our scholarships in 2014 being used on Colorado teams -- Perkins, Collier and Foster. Perkins & Collier have already started getting national noise, but Foster may not be far behind them. Plus, then we can roll out an All-Colorado lineup of Perkins, Collier, Foster, Gordon & Scott.

Throw in Talton and we're looking like, no matter how it fell out, 6 of our top 9 in the rotation could be from in-state so we'd see a lot of all-Colorado lineups.

I never thought I'd be able to think of that and think "Dance" instead of "Doom". Good times.

Collier, Perkins and Foster could be a great 2014 class. In fact, my guess is that, if all 3 develop as they're projected to, that could be the highest rated class in the history of the program.
